Adm Dinesh K Tripathi, #CNS is on an official visit to Myanmar from 02 - 05 May 26.

The visit aims to further strengthen the robust and growing maritime engagements between the #IndianNavy and the #MyanmarNavy.

Engagements with senior leadership of #Myanmar will focus on reviewing ongoing bilateral maritime cooperation, enhancing operational-level linkages, and exploring new avenues for collaboration between the two navies.

The @DRDO_India & Indian Navy successfully jointly conducted the maiden Salvo launch of Naval Anti-ship Missile-Short Range (NASM-SR) from Indian Navy’s helicopter platform, off the coast of Bay of Bengal in Odisha.

Raksha Mantri Shri @rajnathsingh complimented DRDO, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force and industry including the DcPP partners for successful maiden salvo launch of Naval Anti-ship Missile-Short Range. He said that development of this missile will further enhance the capabilities of the Armed Forces to a great extent.

Adm Dinesh K Tripathi, #CNS interacted with the officers, sailors, DSC personnel, and defence civilians of #SNC in a candid and engaging ‘Fireside Chat’ at INS Dronacharya on #20Apr 26.
Sharing his experiences, vision, and expectations, the CNS emphasised the #IndianNavy’s focus on self-reliance and #Aatmanirbharta, driven by technological advancements aligned with the vision of #ViksitBharat2047. He highlighted the transformation of the Navy into a multi dimensional, multi-domain force, which has evolved as #PreferredSecurityPartner in the region. The recent initiative of #IOS_SAGAR26 was cited as a unique example of maritime diplomacy and outreach.
The CNS urged all personnel to remain focused, vigilant, and #CombatReady to address emerging challenges while ensuring #MaritimeSecurity and enabling nation’s unhindered growth. He underscored training as the bedrock of a professional force and acknowledged the vital role of Training Command in building #BridgesOfFriendship through high-quality professional training.
Concluding the interaction, he outlined the Navy’s roadmap for the future, inspiring all ranks towards continued excellence and professionalism.

Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, #CNS inaugurated ‘Vijendra 2’, a new 96-unit married accommodation for junior sailors at Mahavir Annexe in Kochi on 20 April 26. Named after Vijendra Pal Singh Tomar, Seaman, a Kirti Chakra (posthumous) recipient, this facility will enhance the quality of life and welfare infrastructure for naval personnel and families in Kochi station.

On the sidelines of the Commanders’ Conference, Adm Dinesh K Tripathi, #CNS hosted #SagarManthan 26/1 at the Navy House.

Aimed at moving From Intent to Capability, the dialogue brought the Navy’s top leadership together with distinguished leaders from the NITI Aayog, Services, Industry and the Innovation ecosystem to deliberate on Reforming Defence R&D and Capability Development through Greater Industry Participation.

In an era defined by rapid technological diffusion and evolving geopolitics, discussions focused on:-

- building an agile, inclusive innovation ecosystem leveraging startups, MSMEs, academia and industry to accelerate capability outcomes

- widening the defence R&D base and strengthening Public-Private partnership models through reforms and imbibing best practices

The deliberations threw up thought-provoking perspectives and ideas for deepening industry participation, and strengthening a #futureready defence ecosystem.
