As part of the celebrations, students from Navy Children School, Vizag and Dadi Institute of Engineering and Technology (DIET), Anakapalli, visited #INSSandhayak, Hydrographic Survey Unit (Vizag) and Naval Chart Depot (Vizag). The students were briefed on the role of hydrographic operations and witnessed demonstrations of advanced hydrographic survey equipment.

As part of the Indian Navy’s outreach programme, two Eastern Fleet warships, #INSTaragiri and #INSSatpura, berthed alongside at Chennai Port on 23 Jun 26.
The ships were open for visit of more than 1,000 personnel which included #NCC Cadets, Officer Cadets from #OTA Chennai, and over 500 schoolchildren. They were given a unique opportunity to experience firsthand strength of the #IndianNavy, its cutting-edge capabilities, and maritime technological prowess.
Visitors gained valuable insight into the Indian Navy’s operational capabilities and life onboard a frontline warship.
