The International Oppressed Peoples Conference was initially started with an Introductory Message by Dr. Zaheer Baloch who briefed on the history and background of Baloch Yakjehti Committee and the #MarchAgainstBaloch Genocide.

Dr. Mahrang Baloch, who emphasized on the importance of Resistance in these testing times. Because, it is not the matter of a hundred families but collectively for the survival of Baloch as a nation.

The International Oppressed Peoples Conference was held on the 21st of January, 2024. This Conference was an attempt to unite the marginalized and oppressed people from different regions to Unite on a collective front against State atrocities and human rights violations.

Professor Manzoor Baloch, a mentor and intellectual, joined us in IOPC. He enlightened participants regarding the ongoing and historical perspective of violence in this region, especially upon Baloch people. His thought-provoking and critical discussion are an inspiration for our youths.

We were joined by Sarang Joyo, a writer, researcher, political and human rights activist, and Central President Sindh Renaissance Forum. His valuable thoughts and discussions proved encouraging for our participants. We admire his ideals and struggle for the oppressed people of Sindh.

Professor Nida Kirmani also joined today's IOPC. She is an intellectual and a passionate scholar. Her thoughts and experiences were valuable for our struggle against oppression and injustice. We remain inspired and indebted to her constant support for our cause.

Many vocal and passionate individuals joined us through video conference. They could not make their presence but shared their thoughts and guidance via sending their message. We acknowledge their support and solidarity with oppressed people.

Mir Muhammad Ali Talpur, a kind and humble person, shared his thoughts via a video message. We are inspired and grateful for your support and encouragement. You are a ray of hope in such dark times. We are truly indebted to you. May you live more and bless us with your graceful existence.

We were also joined by Muhammad Hanif, a brave journalist and compassionate human being. We are grateful to you, Sir, for your contribution to our cause and the cause of all oppressed peoples.

Ayesha Siddiqa, an author and expert, inspired and encouraged us with her struggle and dedication to the cause of all oppressed peoples. We acknowledge your thought-provoking message. It is good people like you who give us hope and support in such difficult times. You are an inspiration for us. Gratitude for solidarity.

We were joined by Ammar Ali Jan, a historian, member of Haqooq-e-Khalq. He is a dedicated and passionate advocate of human rights for the oppressed people. We offer our sincere gratitude to him for his struggle and constant support for a just cause.

We were also joined by Mehvish Ahmed, a humble and generous human being, an intellectual and an inspiration for oppressed and marginalized people. We are inspired and indebted to her compassionate and thoughtful ideas and solidarity.

Yesterday, Baloch Yakjehti Committee successfully conducted its one-day Oppressed Peoples Conference entitled "From Darkness to Dawn: Shedding light on the suffering and agony of the oppressed."

We believe in collective struggle and unity, without which breaking the shackles of oppression is not possible. IOPC is an effort to form an historical bloc of all oppressed people. Since our pain, sufferings, and miseries are the same, we must unite and struggle together.

The state used all means of suppression to sabotage this conference. Firstly, they snatched and confiscated our necessary equipment for the conference. Today, as the World witnessed, they barred our guests from attending the conference complete impunity. Distinguished lecturers, journalists, and human rights activists were harassed, and the organizers of the conference were threatened. However, they failed in their attempts.

We offer our sincere gratitude to the oppressed peoples and their leaders for joining the call for unity and peace. They honored us and our ideals of unity and solidarity by making their presence at this conference despite all difficulties and obstacles. We were delighted and enlightened by their courage and brave experiences, which they shared with us.

Journalist and brave daughter of the immortal Asma Jahangir, Munizae Jahangir, attended today's conference. We admire her dedication and commitment towards humanity and oppressed peoples. She enlightened and encouraged participants by sharing her thoughts in the panel discussion.

Human rights activist and lawyer Advocate Iman Hazir Mazari, a voice of the voiceless, empowered us by sharing her experiences and ideas regarding human rights violations in Pakistan. We are grateful to Senior Activist for the Enforcedly Disappeared Baloch, Mama Qadeer, who traveled from Balochistan to Islamabad. He informed us about the cases of enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings of Baloch people and shed light on his struggle and the obstacles he is facing.

Distinguished human rights activist and chairperson of the Defence of Human Rights Organisation, Amina Masood, delighted us with her participation in IOPC. She is a ray of hope for the families of enforcedly disappeared individuals.

Zubair Sha Agha, Central Member of PTM, joined us in IOPC. He enlightened us about the suffering and pain of Pashtun people and boldly discussed the importance of unity and understanding between Baloch and Pashtun in this struggle for survival.

Dr. Shalee Baloch, the representative of Baloch Women Forum, joined today's conference. We offer our gratitude to her for joining IOPC and presenting her valuable thoughts regarding the role and challenges of Baloch women in the fight against oppression and colonialism.

We appreciate and acknowledge the presence of Veengas, a vocal journalist for the suppressed and marginalized people. She is truly a remarkable woman and journalist. She admired and enlightened us by sharing her experiences and thoughts.

Oppressed peoples of Gilgit-Baltistan, we acknowledge and admire your dedication and commitment to your rights. Your leader and representatives joined our conference. Baba Jan, along with other brave comrades, joined us and shared his thoughts and vision regarding solidarity and unity.

People of Kashmir, we are admired by your courage and determination towards peace and justice. Much like all oppressed nations of this country, you have been suffering from oppression for decades. Today we were joined by your brave daughter Tahira Tauqeer, who briefed us about your struggle for freedom and justice.

We were delighted by the presence of Mr. Afrasiab Khattak, a senior member of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan and former senator. A veteran politician and humble human being, his valuable thoughts and contributions for democracy and human rights encourage generations.
