At ISA2025 we honored several awardees:
The Finkelstein Award Committee awarded the 2024 prize to @ruofan_ma for his excellent paper "Reporting Compliance: How ILO Reports Affect Respects for Labor Rights" Congrats again! 👏

The committee found the paper to be theoretically innovative and empirically rigorous, and to make a strong contribution to our understanding of the IOs and how they are monitored. It was well argued and engagingly written.

We also want to extend an “honorable mention” to @ezgiyyildiz (Cal State Long Beach) for her book “Between Forbearance and Audacity” (Cambridge UP).

Congrats again to Chadwick F. Alger Prize winner, @NKortendiek, European University Institute for her book, “Global Governance on the Ground: Organizing International Migration and Asylum at the Border” (Oxford UP) 👏

The book draws on her first-hand experience volunteering on the Greek island of Chios. The impressive ethnographic and qualitative research, informs her parsimonious account of how IO governance emerges out of the efforts of professionals navigating ambiguous and novel challenges
