EIPs propose improvements to Ethereum itself.
ERCs are a subset of EIPs focused on application standards.

All ERCs are EIPs,
but not all EIPs are ERCs.

1️⃣ Hard forks, EIPs & ERC in Ethereum.

Ethereum doesn’t upgrade like normal software.
It upgrades through hard forks, EIPs, and ERC standards.
