Our @IPATS_NASCCRS nurse specialist Pamela had the pleasure of bringing a special patient on her Birthday from @GOSHCharity today back to @CHI_Ireland. Our team brought her over a few weeks ago for specialist surgery & were delighted to close the circle of care today 🎂🎈🎈
Was your baby born after March 1st 2025? If so please consider booking them in for their #rsv immunization⬇️ - this will vastly reduce the risk of your baby needing our intensive care team at @CHI_Ireland or our @IPATS_NASCCRS retrieval team this winter 📆 https://t.co/k3XYfKkY98
Today is the #InternationalDayoftheNurse
It Takes a System to Save a Life and nurses play a pivotal role in EMS systems throughout Europe.

🚑 IPEM25 Pre-Conference Workshop Spotlight 🚑
With just 1 week to go join us on March 11th for an essential Critical Care Paediatrics workshop led by the expert IPATS team! 👏 @IPATS_NASCCRS
Yet more data highlighting the incredible success of the RSV Immunisation programme in Ireland this year. We are feeling the benefits of this hugely in #PICU@CHI_Ireland and @IPATS_NASCCRS critical care retrieval - game changer for the most vulnerable population in paediatrics
Today we bid a sad farewell to our wonderful registrars but proud they'll be sharing their knowledge of transferring the critically ill child as they move forward in their bright @COAIrl & @RCPI_news careers. Thanks to all #NCHDS around the country who supported our team in 2024!
We are seeing a sharp uptick in serious #flu cases in children in our hospitals and PICU. All children from 2-17yr can get a free painless nasal spray vaccine from their pharmacy or GP. Highly effective at preventing serious illness. Please share with your loved ones this 🎄🧑🎄
Our repatriation team is currently completing its 140th transfer on our 1st anniversary. Over 500 bed days saved in @CHI_Ireland but most importantly, 140 children brought safely back to their fantastic local paediatric wards for continuing care. Onwards & upwards for 2025!
IPATS celebrated its 10yr Anniversary last week! We've come a long way as a service and we are so proud of the work we do!! The next 10 look even more exciting so 👀 this space! @AmbulanceNAS@NASCriticalCare@CHI_Ireland
