Under the leadership of PM @narendramodi, Union Cabinet today approved:

➡️ Price Stabilisation Fund for Scheduled Indian Airlines toward ATF pricing. A one-time budgetary support not exceeding ₹10,000 Cr for OMCs to ensure stable airline operations, strengthening integration with global markets and supporting 🇮🇳’s economic growth.

➡️ Scheme for support to NCRPB for replacement of old trucks and buses in Delhi-NCR area promoting clean mobility and ease of living.

➡️ Construction of a new coastal highway from Rameshwar to Paradeep in Odisha. Will reduce travel time by 2.5 hours ensuring safe, fast, and uninterrupted connectivity for both passenger and freight traffic.

➡️ Widening of the existing Armoor-Jagtial-Mancherial Section of NH 63 and Jagtial-Karimnagar Section of NH 563 to 4-lane standard. The project will improve travel efficiency across the Districts of Nizamabad, Jagtial, Mancherial and Karimnagar in Telangana. 

➡️ Upgradation of Hiwarkhedi -Roshni-Ashapur-Rudhy Section of NH-347B and widening of Deshgaon-Julwaniya Section of NH-347B. Will provide seamless connectivity to key economic, social, and logistics nodes across Madhya Pradesh.

➡️ Upgradation of the Khagaria-Purnea Section of NH-31 and NH-231 to the 4-Lane Standard (143. 529 kms) in Bihar, driving forward the region’s development and economic prosperity.

Co-chaired the 10th India-Lao PDR Joint Commission Meeting alongside DPM & FM Thongsavanh Phomvihane.

Held detailed discussions on various aspects of our ties, including trade & investment, health, energy, digital, connectivity, development partnership, capacity building and culture. Also spoke about furthering India - ASEAN cooperation as well as developments in the region.

Our ties continue to deepen and diversify as we celebrate 70 years of diplomatic relations. Today’s agreements on Pharmacopoeia, Cultural Exchange and Defence Training will play a key role in advancing our bilateral agenda.

Had a productive meeting with President U Min Aung Hlaing of Myanmar. We in India are honoured that he has chosen India for his first foreign visit as President. Equally gladdening is the fact that he began the visit from Bodh Gaya, with the blessings of Lord Buddha. We reviewed the full range of India-Myanmar relations. Myanmar is vital to India’s policies of ‘Neighbourhood First’, ‘Act East’ and Indo-Pacific.

Our talks covered ways to deepen cooperation in trade, rare earths, healthcare, connectivity, heritage restoration and capacity building. We also agreed to work closely in areas such as maritime security, cyber security and more.

A new chapter in India-Oman economic ties.

The India-Oman CEPA enters into force today, unlocking opportunities for trade, investment and jobs, including for the youth.

With zero-duty access on 98.08% of Oman’s tariff lines covering 99.38% of trade value, the agreement will boost exports, give a boost to MSMEs and strengthen labour-intensive sectors, while creating new avenues for Indian professionals across key sectors. It also safeguards important sectors including dairy and agriculture.

A landmark step towards deeper economic partnership, greater prosperity and mutually beneficial growth.

✅ During PM @narendramodi’s recent visit to the Netherlands, the country has returned ancient Chola-era copper plates that chronicle the achievements, maritime strength and global connections of the Chola empire.

✅ In the summer season, India’s diverse mango varieties, distinguished by their unique appearance, colour & flavour, arrive from different regions of the country. Alongside domestic consumption, mangoes are increasingly finding their way from Indian villages to global markets.

✅ At the National Senior Athletics Federation Competition in Ranchi, the national record for the Men's 100-metre race was broken three times in just two days by Gurindervir Singh & Animesh Kujur.

✅ A remarkable rescue operation in Uttar Pradesh saw a Gangetic dolphin saved after hours of patient effort. The Ganga dolphin rescue ambulance played a crucial role in the rescue.
