A great infographic from Denise Agosto @DrexelUniv with simple tips for parents who are managing their family's technology use while they're at home during the current health crisis. #COVID2019
I’m hearing from and seeing a lot of posts from teachers concerned that students are not as engaged as they usually are now that we are working virtually. I have a couple of thoughts on this:

People look for quick fixes in school systems. They don't exist. Building great school systems requires craftsmanship grounded in learning science & iterative design thinking to create learning conditions promoting great questioning & critically thinking students & adults. #IPLN
Schools designed for Personal Learning include the Adults too. Adult Learning designs should mirror in many ways the designs for students. If we expect teachers to blend learning for students then teachers should be practicing blending themselves along with most methods. #IPLN
A wise person once said that there are two ways to learn (We see neuroscience in this). One is by shock and the other is through repetition. We recommend repetition for most skills. Practice doesn't always make perfect, but it does lead to better! #IPLN
Great teammates speak truth and hold people accountable - We need to do this by having difficult conversations with all of my teammates - including the more aggressive and challenging ones. Not fun, but necessary. Lead courageously.
And from an educational standpoint the most important mission in this age of unlimited information and platforms from which to get information is to educate students to be able to tell fact from fiction, honesty from deception. Everything is riding on it in fact.
The❤️of great schools is the disposition to be a learner. Everyone. Every day. The human brain is wired naturally to learn. Schools should celebrate & facilitate that, not limit or diminish the human spirit in pursuit of knowledge, but rather inspire & support that journey. #IPLN
This is the most passionate I have found myself when writing a blog-article in a long time. Please check it out and provide feedback. Thanks to @KenWallace207 for critical feedback in the early stages.
