One of our potato suppliers (Delavals Farm) have been supporting wildlife by establishing a 7 acre habitat of a bees ‘n’ seeds mixture.

This has provided valuable late season pollen and nectar for insects, resulting in an essential food source for many farmland birds.

Our new 100% recyclable seedless grape punnets means @Asda customers can now recycle the punnets and film as a whole, without removing the lid. This will allow 80 million lids per year to be recycled along with the tray, diverting 80 tonnes of material from going to waste.

We’re changing the packing of @asda's Bumper Root Veg Pack. The plastic tray packaging will be transitioning to a much lighter plastic bag packet, saving 1.6 million pieces of plastic a year, which equates to a saving of around 27 tonnes!
