Channel @News18India promotes false information that congress workers had shouted "haare toh bawaal , jeete toh pakistan zindabad" in the Karnataka assembly. Multiple factchecks have demonstrated that the slogans being made were "Nasser sahab zindabad".

In a classic example of dog whistling, anchor @AMISHDEVGAN frames the debate on the Himachal assembly in a manner that portrays the opposition MP's as potentially treasons and against India's interests.

In @RShivshankar's initial coverage of the release of Bilkis Banos' rapists, BJP was present in only one 23-minute debate, whereby 17 minutes were dedicated to highlighting oppositions alleged hypocrisy and inaction in other sexual violence cases. The subsequent 5-minute conversation with Sanju Verma stands as the sole instance where @TimesNow's anchors directly questioned the BJP while addressing this issue.

This pattern reveals a tendency to sidestep direct inquiries directed at the BJP while simultaneously offering them a platform to discuss broader socio-political concerns, such as sexual violence and state inaction, primarily placing accountability upon the opposition. In @TimesNow's initial coverage of this matter, BJP spokespersons were invited to only 2 debates in August 2023. Both discussions were primarily centered on holding the opposition accountable for politicizing other rape cases.

The anchor further goes on to claim that hindu rashtraward and "less tolerant nationalism is the new status quo" and discredits any claims regarding disenfranchisement of Muslims under Modis India, by stating that the utterance of such beliefs is on account of the failure of western thought processes and Islamist extremists in understanding the ethos of Hindu rashtra and the new definitions of human rights under the same. The binary framing the issue violates the above said guidelines on impartiality and neutrality whereby a highly controversial subject that has a number of diverse views, is being reported in the most binary context possible, by associating it with purely anti-national, anti-Hindu, politically motivated, ignorant motivations.

NBDSA had censured and imposed a Rs 75000 fine on @aajtak for grossly misrepresenting the statements of Barack Obama concerning the rights of minorities in India by associating them with the TukdeTukde gang, Khalistanis , ISI and other terror outfits, thus failing to present a controversial issue that has many diverse views with objectivity and sensitivity . The broadcast was ordered to be edited or taken down.
