This is 37-year-old Sima Mousavi, a film director who was shot and killed by the security forces of #Iran’s Islamic regime for participating in an anti-regime protest in #Karaj on January 9, 2026.

She was killed along with her fiancé, Omid Fallahipour. They were shot while boarding an elevator in their apartment building as they tried to reach the upper floors to escape Basij militiamen who were chasing them. The Basij shot Sima twice in the back of her head.

Her mother kept her body throughout the night and prevented the regime’s security forces from seizing it.

For those who are unaware of how the Islamic regime of #Iran uses terrorism-style psychological warfare to enable its security forces to massacre protesters, this is how it works:

The regime deliberately isolates its security personnel from society, particularly members of special police units. These forces are confined inside military bases, encampments, or dormitories for long periods. They are forbidden from interacting with ordinary civilians during their service—sometimes for years.

During this isolation, they are subjected to systematic psychological warfare and brainwashing. The regime feeds them fabricated narratives about the protesters, portraying them as agents of Israel, the United States, and foreign intelligence services. They are told that protesters are enemies of Islam, coming to destroy their religion and values.

One of the most critical tools used in this brainwashing process is the spread of entirely fabricated atrocity stories. Security personnel are repeatedly shown fake claims that protesters have murdered civilians—especially children. Some of the most grotesque lies involve allegations that protesters killed two- or three-year-old children.

To reinforce these lies, the regime produces fake and AI-generated videos, one of which is attached here. These videos are used internally to convince security forces that protesters are child murderers and therefore “deserve” to be massacred.

You may find these videos absurd or poorly made—but they are not meant for the public. They are weapons of psychological warfare used inside sealed encampments of special police units to dehumanize protesters and justify mass killings.
