Mrs Pesci's 1A1 worked in groups today as they developed literacy and communication skills, while discussing the topics of slavery, racial prejudices and colonisation as part of black history month #bhm @IrvineRoyalAcad

The menu was lifted from a key scene in chapter 1 of the novel. Pork pies, cheese, pickles, scones, coffee, tea and cake were all served. They also enjoyed some ginger beer and shloer. A feast fit for a Hobbit! #Tolkien

Our S4 linguists enjoyed a presentation from the Royal Navy. They discussed, careers’prospects focussing on languages, travelling, and cryptology. @IrvineRoyalAcad
