The National Volunteer Development Officer supports the various activities of the Irish Red Cross and is responsible for ensuring efficient service provision for customers and timely support for volunteers.
In response to the Wexford General Hospital fire, declared as a major hospital emergency, IRC responded to support the hospital.
IRC, alongside St John Ambulance & Order of Malta, are partners of the National Ambulance Service & are trained to step in for any major emergency.
