@ZachCav Carlson fits better with a solid stay-at-home type defender so he can be more creative with the puck. Pairing him with rookies with glaring defensive holes is a recipe for what you’re seeing now

@Derek_Lee27 I am pretty sure he is smart enough to know that the stats are completely misleading. They’ve blown several leads in the 3rd only to tie it back up and win in overtime.

@dr_cellini @northwoods1980 It’s not technically illegal and I’m sure you were left alone plenty during your training. Is it ethical? Maybe not. Will it be scrutinized to heck if something goes wrong? Absolutely.

@SriniTummala @dr_cellini @northwoods1980 The wording of the law is so vague. The attending must be immediately available at all times and be present for all "critical" portions of each procedure. In a complex pediatric surgery i would argue there is no non critical portion.

@operationdanish @houmanhemmati While your math is impressive, rank lists and the match are not random. there are so many more variables that make it more likely that a class is all female or all male

@AhmadRehanKhan I have no doubt that Dr. Coleman-Belin is supremely qualified. And I applaud the high achieving all-female class. Sometimes that’s how the match algorithm works. Goodness knows how many extremely gifted female residents I lost to UCLA.

@AhmadRehanKhan I’m a former residency PD. I cannot think of a single greater advantage for a medical student than having their parent be Chair at a high ranking institution. To claim this advantage as akin to others that “have local ties” is laughable.
