It’s timeeeeeee bring us home Rick

[Brian Robinson @206empire]

In about 2010 I was having lunch with the Bob Walsh, who had envisioned the goodwill games in Seattle. "Keep your eyes out for Rick Welts," he said. "When you see Rick come to the table you will know the Sonics return is really happening."

[Chris Daniels @ChrisDaniels_TV]

As the basketball turns....

Welts had previously been an advisor to the Seattle group, before pivoting to Dallas in 2024.

[IVO @IREALLYDIME]

Talk to me rickkkk come homeeee

[Brad Townsend @townbrad]

For this story I spoke by phone to NBA commissioner Adam Silver, who said of Rick Welts' re-retirement:

"I don't believe the last chapter of Rick Welts' NBA journey has been written yet. Don't be surprised if he re-emerges as a consultant to another team or another city. I'll just say that."

If @KalshiSports offers it and I were a betting person, I'd wager that Welts will re-join the NBA expansion efforts of his hometown, Seattle.

[IVO @IREALLYDIME]

I believe Marc lasry group is getting Vegas idk who brought up them dropping out but he said this more they are still in till Adam says otherwise. NBA expansion is real and hopefully my Sonics will be back soon

[IVO @IREALLYDIME]

Hey… Mr. Berry….. yeah can you make a FUCKIN MOVE PLEASE!!! appreciate it go #DawgPound

[Ian Rapoport @RapSheet]

Trade: The #Colts are trading 3-time Pro-Bowl DT DeForest Buckner back to the #49ers, the team that made him a 2016 first-round pick before dealing him to Indianapolis in 2020, per me and @AdamSchefter. A reunion!!

Now Buckner returns to SF, fortifying their defensive line.

[IVO @IREALLYDIME]

Lemme find out they traded Melo to retire muggsy jersey gang 😂😂

[Shams Charania @ShamsCharania]

The Charlotte Hornets on Feb. 11 are retiring the No. 1 jersey of Muggsy Bogues, the shortest player in NBA history at 5-foot-3. Bogues spent 10 of his 14 NBA seasons in Charlotte (1988-1998) and is the franchise leader in assists, steals and minutes.

[IVO @IREALLYDIME]

The box score watchers will never understand that Watson really isn’t playing that good, you look at the box score and hear he led another game winning drive and think he’s good. It’s much deeper. #DawgPound

[IVO @IREALLYDIME]

Ain’t this supposed to be a rebuild year? 5-2? Where will my beloved Cleveland browns end this season?

[Steve Will Do It @stevewilldoit]

MY REPONSE .

[IVO @IREALLYDIME]

Love to see Kc finally getting that big game, we really got something here with Boston/KC. Mr berry one hell of a job

[IVO @IREALLYDIME]

Dat boy earned it he so coldddd

[Ian Rapoport @RapSheet]

The #Browns and standout DT Maliek Collins have agreed to terms on a 2-year extension for $30M with $23M in total guarantees, agent Drew Rosenhaus tells me and @AdamSchefter.

[IVO @IREALLYDIME]

Lonzo gotta sign to Miami, they have new true PG and it’s going to kill them

[Andrew Berry’s Burner @Dawg_Check11]

What yall think of this uniform combo??

Ass or Gas

#dawgpound

[IVO @IREALLYDIME]

@Dawg_Check11 Nah this hard asf

[IVO @IREALLYDIME]

[SleeperBrowns @SleeperBrowns]

Should we start talking more about Austin Simmons as a QB to target in the draft next year or is it too soon?

[IVO @IREALLYDIME]

@kardiackap Niko chill

[Iconic Sonics @Iconic_sonics]

Adam Silver walked back reports that Mexico City was creeping in front of Seattle for an NBA expansion franchise today on ESPN.

[IVO @IREALLYDIME]

@RoofTopMariner @SonicsRCP Haha yeah it sucks but I love it, it’s a good video of history forsure

[IVO @IREALLYDIME]

@RoofTopMariner @SonicsRCP Lmaoo aye man I’m everything Seattle but the hawks. Born and raised Seattle fell in love with the browns 😂
