Many doctors have felt totally undervalued by Irish society for years. We appealed to deaf ears about abusive working conditions. I hope when all this is over you will remember that doctors stepped up& though what you ask of us is exceptional, what we ask of you is simple #COVID19
15 years on from Fianna Fáil “centre of excellence” bullshit this is what Ireland is left with. Many of these patients could once have been treated at Ennis general hospital https://t.co/Iw3wbX5qJh
It never fails to amaze me the confidence of those who suggest that the solution to doctors leaving Ireland is indentured servitude after graduation "because we paid for their training."
A statement of solution that confidently declares "I know nothing about this." Amazing.
@paulreiddublin@HSELive Did @WaterfordWhisp1 write this tweet???? (Though I’m not implying you’d have made the spelling mistake Waterford Whispers, it’s the rest of the content that’s a joke)
.@MichealMartinTD is suggesting a bonus for frontline workers could be annual leave.Just an FYI @mmcgrathtd ,most junior doctors miss out on leave because there isn’t enough cover for us to take it. Giving ‘untakeabke’ leave to an understaffed system is just a slap in the face..
So apparently not only do @slaintecare think they OWN doctors& have a right to tell them where to live and when to live there FOREVER-they also want intellectual property rights over future work? I will NEVER be signing this contract @DonnellyStephen @LeoVaradkar@MichealMartinTD
