UK and France prepare for mine clearance operations in the Strait of Hormuz
Bloomberg reported that the UK and France have completed their final plans to lead a multinational mine clearance operation in the Strait of Hormuz.
According to this report, the operation may begin just days after the Islamic Republic and the US reach an agreement for the full reopening of the shipping route in the Strait of Hormuz.
It is said that a coalition of 15 countries has so far allocated the necessary forces, vessels, and equipment for this mission, but their operational deployment will depend on the return of normal commercial shipping traffic in this strategic waterway.

The IAEA is once again demanding accountability from the Islamic Republic
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), in a report to member states on Thursday, June 4, 2026, once again called on the Islamic Republic to "urgently" explain the fate of its enriched uranium stockpiles following last year's attacks by the United States and Israel on the country's nuclear facilities.
The report also calls on the authorities of the Islamic Republic to pave the way for the full resumption of inspections.

Islamic Republic roadcasting : a presenter organizing " soft " interrogations for security scenarios of the regime
According to an exclusive report from news sources, Zhila Sadeghi, a presenter for the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), plays a direct role in designing and executing forced confession scenarios and the media exploitation of individuals arrested in cyberspace, through the production of a program called "Red Line".
According to this report, in close cooperation and coordination with security institutions, especially structures affiliated with the IRGC Intelligence Organization, Sadeghi gains access to the case files of some detainees. By directly entering the context of these cases, she exploits the psychological and mental state of the arrested individuals to produce her television program.
The scenario designed in this program proceeds in a way that suggests to the audience that the detained individual is appearing on the show of their own free will, is expressing remorse for their past, and has undergone an ideological transformation following the attack by Israel and the United States of America on the Islamic Republic and the death of Ali Khamenei.
In this security narrative, the arrested individual is forced to pretend that they have distanced themselves from their past positions, realized their "mistakes," and now consider defending the core of the system, obeying the leadership of Mojtaba Khamenei, and protecting the flag of the Islamic Republic as their "red line."
Within this structure, Zhila Sadeghi is no longer merely a television presenter ; she is the unmasked enforcer of the security and media missions of the Islamic Republic's dark institutions. A role in which coercion, forced confessions, and intimidation are brought into people's homes under the guise of television programming.

Economic crisis in Iran: the vise tightens on freight carriers
In Iran, the freight transport sector is facing financial asphyxiation, recently exacerbated by a fresh increase in road tolls. Compounding this burden is the dramatic surge in costs related to vehicle upkeep and maintenance.
Truck drivers must now contend with exorbitant prices to procure spare parts, replace tires, or even pay for their insurance and repairs.
This widespread spike in operating expenses imposes a particularly severe daily pressure on road professionals. Indeed, their incomes, along with the freight rates applied to them, are not seeing any proportional increase capable of offsetting this explosion in costs, thereby directly threatening their professional survival.
This alarming reality within the transport sector unfolds against a national backdrop of severe distress and major economic hardship. This profound crisis, which had already been suffocating the country for several months well before the outbreak of the war, continues to intensify today. The repercussions of this instability are accumulating and multiplying, dealing a severe blow to workers and further undermining the Iranian economic fabric.

The Bahraini Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of 15 people on charges of having links with the Revolutionary Guards.
Asharq Al-Awsat, quoting the ministry, stated that investigations and security reports show that "the detainees were responsible for carrying out provocative orders."
These individuals are accused of attempting to influence citizens, with the aim of drawing them into activities that are considered crimes under the law.
Previously, the Bahraini Criminal Court had sentenced a woman to life imprisonment on charges of cooperating with the Revolutionary Guards, sending sensitive information about Bahrain's security and national centers, and taking hostile actions against the country.

The United States facing the Islamic Republic : between military ultimatums and diplomatic demands
The U.S. administration is displaying a firm stance against the Islamic Republic, which it describes as a "major threat to the entire world." In its strategy, Washington insists on clearly separating the issues related to the war in Lebanon from the necessity of reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Donald Trump specified that, furthermore, one of the United States' top priority and short-term objectives remains to quickly seize the stocks of highly enriched uranium held by the Iranian regime.
Faced with this situation, the American president is not ruling out any option and is openly brandishing the threat of an expeditious and devastating military intervention. He claims, in fact, that American forces would be capable of destroying everything within two to three weeks with great ease. However, Donald Trump specified that he favors a pragmatic solution: "if it is possible to obtain a written agreement ensuring that these same objectives are achieved without causing massive loss of life, this approach will be chosen."
However, this potential diplomatic path is subject to strict preconditions set forth by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio. For negotiations to begin, Tehran must first reopen the Strait of Hormuz and formally commit, in writing, to no longer attack commercial vessels in the Persian Gulf. Finally, the American government insistently emphasizes that this preliminary action demanded of the Islamic Republic will not yield any concessions in return.

Tech company director arrested for allegedly supplying equipment for the Islamic Republic's nuclear and military programs
The US Department of Justice reported that Jamshid Ghomi, a tech company director and dual Iranian-American citizen, has been arrested in California.
According to the US Department of Justice, Jamshid Ghomi, 63, a resident of Newport Coast, is accused of violating US sanctions by procuring advanced US-made network, security, and encryption equipment for customers in Iran, including entities linked to the Islamic Republic's nuclear and military programs.
US prosecutors announced that he faces charges of "conspiracy to violate the International Emergency Economic Powers Act" (IEEPA) and is scheduled to appear in federal court in Santa Ana.
This case demonstrates once again that the Islamic Republic utilizes covert networks, intermediary companies, and non-transparent routes to bypass sanctions and feed its nuclear and military machine; networks whose profits line the pockets of middlemen, while the Iranian people pay the price through poverty, sanctions, and isolation.

Mojtaba Khamenei warns against divisions following the "enemy's defeat on the battlefield".
Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei asserts that the United States and Israel have "failed militarily in their war and have now turned to a campaign aimed at sowing internal division."
In a written message, Khamenei stated that the "oppressive system" led by the United States could not accept a strong and independent Iran, and that "the enemy, following its military failure and profound humiliation, is now waging a hybrid war focused on two points: the people's resilience and the leadership's miscalculations. Its main tool consists of sowing doubt, despair, fear, and division," he said.
"Any action that breeds cynicism or despair among the population is a form of aid to the enemy of this country and its people," he added, urging all Iranians to respond with "firmness, clarity, and unity."
The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic continues to use the regime's traditional rhetoric, and that used for several weeks by the commanders of the Revolutionary Guards, which consists of emphasizing the "strategic defeat" of their enemies.

- " In the event of continued Israeli aggressions against Beirut, our armed forces are fully prepared to resume the war and strike targets inside Israel. "
- "Communication with the Americans has not been severed, and messages regarding the necessity to stop the aggressions against Beirut have been exchanged, but despite this, no tangible progress has been achieved in the negotiation process. "
- " Returning to the negotiating table is conditional upon securing the rights of the Iranian nation, ending the war in Lebanon, and halting tensions in the region. "

Grossi: We know the location of the I.R.’s enriched uranium stockpiles
Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), stated in an interview that the Agency is aware of the storage location of the Islamic Republic enriched uranium stockpiles (more than 400 kg).
He claimed that these materials are still located in the same place where they were kept prior to last year's attacks, but due to physical damage inflicted on the facilities, accessing them has faced difficulties.

Docking of the first supertanker at Kharg Island, Iran
A Bloomberg report shows that after nearly a month-long pause caused by the US naval blockade, the first supertanker has docked at Kharg Island.
Prior to this blockade, which began in mid-April, oil loading at Kharg was a daily occurrence, but statistics indicate that in May, no cargo managed to bypass Washington's barrier.
Experts attribute the sharp decline in activity at this terminal to the Islamic Republic tankers reaching full capacity under the pressure of sanctions, blockade, or Tehran's refusal to load due to uncertainty about the shipments reaching the market ; however, European Union satellite imagery suggests that this supertanker likely took advantage of a multi-day visual gap in surveillance radars to load covertly.

Following last night's attack by the terrorist Revolutionary Guards, the Kuwaiti government summoned the Islamic Republic chargé d'affaires and handed him an official protest note.

The Iranian Foreign Minister justifies the strikes against Kuwait and Bahrain, describing them as "self-defense."
The Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, defended his country's attack on Kuwait and Bahrain, calling them "self-defense strikes."
Kuwaiti authorities stated they intercepted 30 ballistic missiles and drones originating from Iran, while a strike on its airport killed one person and injured dozens.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote that Iranian forces targeted sites that US forces "use to attack civilian shipping and violate the ceasefire." "What sanctions and war have failed to achieve will not be gained through more war," it stated.
He also stated that Kuwaitis and Bahrainis "bore responsibility for the Iranian attacks against US installations on their territory, because they allowed the Americans to use bases located on their soil to commit aggression against Iran."
This aligns with the Iranian government's statements since the beginning of the war, establishing that any attack targeting Iran's regime and territory will result in a government retaliation targeting the location from which it was launched.

Islamic Republic's Rhetoric : the armed forces vow to fight " to the death "
The Iranian armed forces issued a statement marking the anniversary of the death of the founder of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, and the 15 Khordad uprising, vowing to "defend the Islamic Revolution" against what they described as American and Israeli aggression, according to state broadcaster IRIB.
"The Iranian nation will not back down in the face of threats and aggression," the statement read, adding that the armed forces would defend the ideals of the Islamic Revolution "to the death."
The anniversary of Khomeini's death, on June 3, coincides with the 15 Khordad uprising of 1963, commemorated annually as a founding moment of the Islamic Revolution.

The Iranian population is reporting power outages across the country
The president of the Chamber of Commerce's Energy Commission has warned that the population will likely face power cuts for several months starting from late Khordad or early Tir (mid-June or late June), and some citizens are also reporting the onset of sporadic power outages in recent days.
Additionally, some specialized media figures in the energy sector have also warned that the country's energy production and supply situation is facing serious challenges; a situation that, if accurate, could mean a difficult summer and winter for the population.
The Iran Observatory reports testimonies from the population inside the country regarding these power cuts and the energy situation:
"Summer has not yet begun, but reports of power outages are increasing in various regions of the country. The reality is that people are tired of hearing promises; a factory without electricity does not produce; a shop without electricity sees its revenue drop; a family left without power for hours in the summer heat cannot be appeased by statistics and justifications."

A Kuwaiti airport hit by attacks from the Islamic Republic
Following last night's missile attacks by the Guards Corps, Kuwait Airport was targeted; reports indicate injuries and heavy damage.
Kuwait's Civil Aviation Organization announced that drone and missile strikes targeting a terminal at Kuwait International Airport caused significant material damage and injured several people.
According to the report, parts of the airport's infrastructure were damaged, and the exact extent of the damage is currently being assessed.
The Revolutionary Guards, for their part, claimed that these "retaliatory" strikes, in response to US attacks on Qeshm Island, "should serve as a lesson" to the United States, following the latter's bombing of Kuwait and Bahrain.
In response, the United Arab Emirates is calling for a unified Gulf stance following the attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain. Anwar Gargash, advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates, states that the repeated "aggressions" by the Islamic Republic demand a firm and unified Gulf position.
"The security of the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council is interdependent, their interests are shared, and their destiny is one. This aggression does not target a specific country, but targets us all."

Iranian island of Qeshm attacked, US response to Islamic Republic attacks on Gulf neighbors
According to reports on the ground, at least three ballistic missiles were fired near Shiraz, Iran, yesterday evening and overnight. It is confirmed that the Islamic Republic launched several ballistic missiles toward its regional neighbors; however, none reached their intended targets.
🔺 Footage of the missiles fired toward Kuwait.
Two Iranian missiles fired toward Kuwait fell short or disintegrated in flight, and three missiles launched toward Bahrain were immediately intercepted by US and Bahraini air defense forces. The Emirati government stated that air defense activities were taking place off the coast of the Emirates and closed its airspace, as did Kuwait.
In Iran, explosion sounds were heard in the Qeshm Island area and were reported by local sources and residents of the island.
CENTCOM command confirmed tonight that it attacked Qeshm Island; "United States forces successfully thwarted several Iranian ballistic missiles and drones and, in response to attempted attacks by the Islamic Republic across the Middle East, conducted self-defense strikes on Qeshm Island on June 2."
United States Central Command (CENTCOM) forces confirmed they shot down three one-way attack drones launched by the Islamic Republic against civilian mariners legitimately transiting regional waters. US forces also conducted self-defense strikes against an Iranian military ground control station on Qeshm Island.

Trading under restrictions : when operators refuse to back down financially
During the days of international internet outages and restrictions, operators sold expensive packages called "Internet Pro" (for example, 50 gigabytes for 2.2 million Tomans) to users for special access.
Now, with the gradual lifting of the restrictions, operators are unwilling to refund the users' money, and their only solution is to deactivate the package and save the remaining data volume.
This issue has sparked user protests, because they were first deprived of normal internet, then forced to buy expensive internet, and now, in difficult economic conditions, they have no way of getting their money back.
