@Cloudninecare We had already paid the complete package amount for my wife's IVF egg retrieval procedure. Egg retrieval is generally considered a minimally invasive procedure with no external incision or stitches. However, immediately after the procedure, while my wife was still admitted in the hospital and before we were discharged, she developed severe abdominal pain and was diagnosed by the hospital with internal bleeding.

Due to this emergency complication, the hospital had to perform an emergency laparoscopic surgery. As per the medical records provided to us, approximately 1 litre of blood was removed from her abdomen, and she required an emergency transfusion of 2 units of blood.

This entire incident caused our family immense mental stress and emotional trauma. What was expected to be a routine IVF procedure suddenly turned into a medical emergency. Even today, we are frightened and have lost confidence in proceeding with further treatment because of what happened.

To make matters worse, we were also presented with an additional hospital bill running into lakhs of rupees for the emergency surgery and related treatment, despite having already paid for the IVF package. We believe patients should not have to bear such an unexpected burden without proper accountability and transparent communication.

I am sharing this review based on our personal experience and the medical records available with us. I sincerely hope the hospital management investigates this incident thoroughly, communicates transparently with patients and their families, and takes appropriate steps to improve patient safety. @CloudnineCare #cloud9hospitals #cloud9hospitalghaziabad
