y’all, no one can stop heeseung from growing. he’s had this mindset ever since. he was never meant to stay in one place just because it’s comfortable. he wants to grow, challenge himself, and keep discovering who he can become. some people are satisfied staying where they are, but heeseung has always been someone who keeps reaching for more

My honest take?!

I’m glad Heeseung built his fd on his own. 99% of his real fans were his fans first & simply tolerated his former grp out of respect for him. We bought albums, attended concerts, purchased merch, streamed, & voted for the grp because of him.

We never became fans of the grp itself. We always saw it as one of his projects, not his entire career. We always felt he was meant for more & had been holding himself back for far too long.

Whatever the grp gave him, he gave back even more. His fans supported the grp massively bec he was in the grp. More importantly, he contributed so much to their musicality, artistry & overall identity. He paid his dues more than enough!

So if you view his decision negatively, maybe it’s bec you can’t accept that he chose what many of his genuine fans wanted for him. It’s to walk away from mediocrity & a toxic environment, be more authentic, & pursue something bigger. And we support him for that!
