Ms Gan Siow Huang, Minister of State of @MFAsg & @MTI_Sg delivered the keynote address at the inaugural session of the 2nd India Singapore Futures Forum. She highlighted the steady growth of 🇮🇳🇸🇬 cooperation and ongoing joint efforts to realise its potential.
In his address, High Commissioner outlined how both countries are working together for further strengthening 🇮🇳🇸🇬 Comprehensive Strategic Partnership; from trade, investments, defence, P-P contacts to emerging areas of semiconductors, maritime connectivity, healthcare, digitalisation and green economy.
It was followed by a panel discussion on the topic of “India-Singapore Cooperation in a Fragmenting Global Economy”, with participation of Prof Tan Tai Yong, President of @suss_sg, @MalikAshok of The Asia Group, Ms Sonal Varma of Nomura Singapore and Prof Iqbal Singh Sevea, Director of @ISASNus.
The global economic landscape is entering a new phase marked by fragmentation, strategic competition and evolving regional partnerships.
