The Council of Imams of Ottawa-Gatineau has confirmed that the first of Dhul Hijjah will fall on Monday, May 18, 2026, as officially announced for the Hajj. Therefore, In Sha Allah, Eid al-Adha will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
