With #ISIDORe support, Kobakhidze (Max Perutz Labs) & EMBL Grenoble identified 2 fragments binding MmaA1, a key enzyme in Mtb’s lipid wall. One fragment shifts a critical loop—hinting at drug potential.

In 428 healthcare workers, Milagro Beamonte’s team used Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) to link S gene mutations (esp. in JN.1) with malaise.
