The Executive Chairman of Lagos Island Local Government, Mayor Taiwo Oyekan led the Monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise across Isale-Eko, Olowogbowo, Okoo Faji and Idumota on Saturday.

and keep Lagos Island clean beyond the monthly exercise.

The Executive Chairman of Lagos Island Local Government, Mayor Taiwo Oyekan led the Monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise across Isale-Eko, Olowogbowo, Okoo Faji and Idumota on Saturday.

Grateful Heart

Yesterday, we successfully held the 6th Edition of Senator Oluremi Tinubu Food Bank, tagged OJA ASIWAJU 'Eniyan L’aso Mi', and my heart is full.

As one of my constituency programmes for Lagos Island 1, it was a joy to see our people come out in large numbers to enjoy massive discounts of 50% to 75% on food items and household essentials at Olowogbowo. This initiative is truly making life easier for our families.

To the wonderful people of Lagos Island 1, thank you for your unwavering support, love, and trust in me. Everything I do is for you and because of you. I remain deeply grateful.

I also want to sincerely thank the APC stakeholders and leaders for finding me worthy to be nominated for a second term. Your confidence in me is a responsibility I do not take lightly. Facts:
1, No JFF polling agents in Ward B1

2, Intimidation & threats was carried out by JFF/NURTW elements at LILG office

3, Attempted attack on Hon. Lara Oyekan Olumegbon by thugs name (Shame Onikeke, Oji Turaya, Mela Foreigner, Ige FERMA etc.)

Today, with great joy and deep gratitude to Almighty God, I celebrate the 23rd Coronation Anniversary of my Father, His Royal Majesty, Oba Rilwan Babatunde Osuolale Aremu Akiolu I, the Oba of Lagos.

Kabiyesi’s reign over the past 23 years has been a tremendous blessing to Lagos Kingdom and to all of us privileged to witness this remarkable era of royal leadership, wisdom, peace, and cultural preservation.

As a proud daughter of the royal lineage and a representative of the good people of Lagos Island Constituency 01, this celebration holds a special place in my heart. Kabiyesi has continued to serve as a father to many, a custodian of our rich heritage, and a symbol of dignity, courage, and unity for Lagosians across generations.

On this special occasion, I join the entire people of Isale Eko, Oko Faji, Olowogbowo, Lagos Island, and Lagos State at large in celebrating a monarch whose legacy continues to inspire pride and hope in the hearts of our people.

I pray that Almighty God grants Kabiyesi continued good health, divine strength, long life, peace, and many more prosperous years on the throne of his forefathers.
