Thanks to the organizers of @ISSN2020 for a great conference, which gave me a chance to visit the house of a fascinating NOLA narrative author (not listed: Grandissimes!) and get myself what K8 panel taught me I should call a NOLA book haul... Taking home lots thoughts!
Back home from @ISSN2020 which was a simply STUNNING conference. However, this Arizona girl had some TROUBLE with daylight savings time on my travel day....😭😆
On my way to #NOLA today to talk about incarceration, metafiction, and The Pilgrim’s Progress @ISSN2020 ✨ Last time I was in New Orleans I eloped 🤗 (Instagram filters were awful like 6 years ago 🤦🏻♀️)
Excited to hear that the panel I proposed w/ Nancy Pedri & @SamBrowse is accepted for #Narrative2020, New Orleans! Our panel is “Our we running out of time? Ailing Bodies in an Ailing World” & we’ll discuss graphic illness memoirs, anthropocene fiction, & climate change politics!
