@Invinium Antagonists are also characters that block the protagonist from achieving their goal, Aldia is doing this even if he "doesnt intent to manipulate you"
@Invinium Hes trying to make you rethink your choices, his experiments throughout the game's lore are all to end the cycle, this is very much what he wants. And he literally goes against you at the end of the game, regardless of his intention he still serves as your opponent and antagonist
@Invinium He stands in your path to your goal, the throne, even if he has "good intentions" and is just teaching you, he's still blocking your goal. And if you're trying to link the flame hes actively trying to convince you to do otherwise
@kozlovskyi79217 On my sl1 run his ai freaked out and he kept repeating the double stomp and sitting down fire move, I kinda feel bad for only beating him due to luck but I also have no intention of ever fighting him again, too much jank
@Invinium Pretty sure hanbei doesnt kill you in his training, laid is an adversary your character must defeat even if your interests align (if you aren't trying to link the flame like most people, in which case he directly opposes your goal).
@StetlerThe@fenianraider1@TheSpaceSoviet People use "pure bullshit" just to ignore actual criticism because they dont want their childhood nostalgia slop to be ruined
@StetlerThe@fenianraider1@TheSpaceSoviet Also RotS is objectively a bad movie, awful dialogue, awful cgi, rushed character work and so many pointless stuff that are there just to sell toys. Nostalgia is the only reason its looked so fondly upon nowadays
