Now you're just asserting things.
"Oh the post wasn't doing it." Yes it was. I can't make an issue out of something that somebody else already did.
"Vic and Trump are the biggest examples." Then prove it like I asked you to numerous times. You didn't, you just said it was true so therefore I somehow had to accept it.
"You're raging." Well I think you're raging, if we're just making stuff up now. Now what?
"You're fighting enemies in your head" -It's funny you make the accusations of shadow boxing because that's literally what you were doing through the entire discussion.
"Don't make it a dumb gender issue"
-Again, ironic considering I was responding to the original poster, who actually did make it a gender issue against men (which isn't up anymore, probably due to it being received poorly)
"You were whining the entire discussion"
-No, I just asked you to show me a similar case to Lindsay's where an unprecedented amount of men were supporting/posting misinformation to help them. You apparently didn't get that and gave me something that had no bearing on what I was asking for, because I already conceded that men and women can have both genders respectfully defend them based purely on bias. That's why it was the scale that was important. Then you bring up Trump as a red herring when you know full well the claim of him being a pedo hasn't been proven in a court of law, unlike Lindsay's case, where she admitted that she killed her kids.
"Who ever said she was innocent"
-No, I never accused you of saying that: that's a strawman. You seemed to be implying her crime was not servere when you said "crime being severe is irrelevant", meaning hers, so that's why I said that.
Nobody's denying women can be vulnerable, but I said children are the MOST vulnerable. Yes, I agree people will to incredible lengths to defend their perceived victims, like an unprecedented amount of women are currently doing with the Lindsay case.
"The USA elected a pedo" - this is how I know to just completely stop taking you seriously. And even if it were the case, what's even your argument: "oh, well the US elected a pedo so a woman choking her three kids to death and traumatizing her husband isn't a severe or relevant crime."? Fuck off with that bullshit.
Disagree. The scale of what we're talking about matters because it's children, and children are seen as the most vulnerable of our population. If you have women not only supporting what Lindsay did to her kids, but also putting out misinformation about the father, then you women actively aiding a culture of deceit, apathy towards the vulnerable, conspiracy theories, and misandry.
The scale matters because kids' lives depend on it. There was already another mother that murdered her kid either during or after the mistrial who was heavily following Lindsay's case. This isn't something to be taken lightly.
@MrDays8@emeriticus Yes, we are talking about the level of crime. I made that clear in the first comment when I asked those questions. Hell, I even made it clear in my original reply that you responded to.
You said Vic's case is on the level of murdering three children and having a large audience of the same gender blame their spouse for it, raise over $1M for them, and weaponize mental health as an excuse. So prove it.
If you can't prove it, then don't fucking lie disingenuously.
@justmercy__ This was from last year while ICE was mass deporting illegal migrants. She was crying because she felt they were being unfairly treated and kicked out. Has nothing to do with Justin Bieber.
Very similar to this post btw: https://t.co/2SBPB1nOiS
Selena Gomez broke down in tears during a recent livestream, saying she misses the days when she was dating Justin Bieber.
She admitted that Justin made her feel happier and more protected than she does with her husband, Benny Blanco.
Selena said her relationship with Justin felt more genuine and that part of her wishes she could go back. However, she says she can’t stop thinking about how her fans and her husband would react if she made that choice.
The past may be over, but her feelings for Justin might not be. 👀💔
The SCALE of the two cases are what's important here. What aren't you understanding?
I already conceded that both men and women can support their gender, albeit the scale of the crime/size of the support is different than the Lindsay Clancy case.
I asked you three questions, and you said Vic was comparable to all of them. So account for that.
-Show where thousands of men go on TikToks to create conspiracies slandering his wife
-Show where thousands of men defended a man who strangled his three children to death and weaponized mental health to do so
-Show where thousands of men created a gofundme, raising over a million dollars for a murderer
The answer is you can't. Vic was a sex pest, not a husband that strangled his three children to death and got massive support from other men for either being too mentally unstable, or from being the beneficiary of lies against his spouse. These aren't comparable cases.
What's the irony? That some men sometimes defend other guilty men? Nobody denied that. All you're doing is trying to draw a parallel between two cases that isn't there and remove all nuance.
There are way more women defending/supporting Lindsay in various ways - gofundme money, misinformation/disinformation, framing her husband, wepaonzing mental health, etc.
Both can agree that murdering kids is bad, that there are loads of women that are unfortunately supporting Lindsay, defending her, funding her, and spreading misinformation about her husband.
Both sides could also agree that there are men that are blowing this out of proportion by unfairly demonizing all women as supporting Lindsay, and that a sizable audience of men have supported males that commit crimes and are obviously guilty, though maybe not a 1-1 comparison.
And I think what you're especially missing is that these people may not be fully locked into their beliefs. Maybe they need to be talked down and become deradicalized through meaningful conversation rather than surface level doom scrolling.
Jumping the gun and encouraging women all over the world to just dump their boyfriends because they take a negative stance on the 19th will just make more people alone and miserable, more vulnerable to radicalization from actual misogynists and misandrists. And I'd say the same to the men telling other men to leave their girlfriends that support Lindsay.
You figure out why they feel the way they do, you provide your own perspective, and see where it goes. People of different political stances can stay together, even on things they heavily disagree with: it's nothing new. And if you can't work it out, then fair enough, but my point is to just try.
Breaking up prematurely just leaves both parties dissatisfied, angry and vulnerable to radicalization by being sucked into this 'gender war'
