AAD fun fact: Users can have 'two UPNs'. As long as the domain used in the onPremisesUserPrincipalName attribute is verified in your tenant it can be used to sign-in. It helps to keep things working when you configure a different AD attribute as source for the UPN in AADC.

You'll still need an #MSExchange Server for the foreseeable future after you migrate to #Office365, assuming you use Azure AD Connect. @gregtaylor_msft says not to expect any big news on removing the last Exchanger Server until #MSIgnite 2020.
