The Board liked both candidates in this race, and admire their long service to Illinois. Justice Cunningham showed a broader knowledge that gives her the edge in this race. Cunningham is endorsed.

The board liked both candidates in this race, but Ms. Guzman's knowledge of the issues and longtime work on them makes her the best candidate for the position. Guzman is endorsed.
