I am not surprised by the silence. As I mentioned, Emagine simply is not the same anymore.
Beyond being an avid moviegoer who frequently brings my family, I am an actor and production manager for an independent film company. @EmagineTheatres
I understand the entertainment and hospitality business, and I used to love everything about Emagine—especially the staff and the welcoming environment. Unfortunately, I can no longer say that. @EmagineTheatres
While I will note that the environment looked somewhat better during my most recent visit, cleanliness was never something a customer had to question in the past. @EmagineTheatres
Over my last few visits to the Novi location, the facility was noticeably poorly maintained. The restrooms and the popcorn seasoning station looked entirely ignored. @EmagineTheatres
@EmagineTheatres As it stands, Emagine is no longer the theater it used to be, and you are actively driving away the people who supported you most.

@EmagineTheatres I suggested multiple reasonable workarounds, and all of them were flatly rejected. The focus of your staff was entirely on why I could not watch the movie, rather than how to fix a problem caused by your system.
@EmagineTheatres When I called the Novi location, I was met with the exact same response.
What is most frustrating is that nobody was interested in solving the issue or ensuring I could enjoy the film. There was literally zero effort made.
@EmagineTheatres Then, I reached a breaking point at your Farmington Hills location. I was ultimately refused service for a voucher that I already paid for due to a previous unrefunded ticket. Instead of honoring it, I was told my only option was to purchase yet another ticket
@EmagineTheatres We were left to choose between being late for the film or skipping concessions entirely. For a major premiere, Emagine appeared completely unprepared.
@EmagineTheatres However, when the crowd rushed the concessions afterward, the stand was critically understaffed. Instead of the normal, efficient system where customers select items and move to a separate line to pay, we were forced to order and pay at the counter.

It’s frustrating to be asked to purchase another ticket when I already paid for one. This appears to be an issue on Emagine’s end, yet customers are left without a solution, explanation, or compensation. Emagine isn’t what it used to be.
