A raíz de mi último post, he leído decenas de comentarios de jugadores defendiendo a Rockstar Games a capa y espada, así que vamos a informar bien a todo el mundo sobre la realidad de la empresa:

��️ Enfrenta graves acusaciones sindicales por haber despedido a montones de trabajadores que trataban de organizarse para defender su estatus.

➡️ Arrastra denuncias por explotación laboral, imposición de presencialidad muy estricta y brechas salariales de todo tipo durante el desarrollo de sus videojuegos.

➡️ GTA VI será solo digital de salida, forzando la dinámica anti-consumidor de Sony antes de tiempo y mermando opciones en el mayor blockbuster del mundo para imponer nuevas dinámicas abusivas.

➡️ Cajas con un simple código (CiaB) con las que tienen nulo respeto para usuarios del formato físico, coleccionistas y retailers que comercializan su videojuego.

➡️ Han encarecido el precio de salida de GTA VI aún siendo solo digital, de nuevo tratando de sentar un precedente para futuros juegos.

➡️ Se está forzando la compra de la edición Ultimate al bloquear contenido de la experiencia de un jugador.

➡️ Aún con todo lo que han impuesto sobre precios y formatos, aún no se han mostrado nada sobre su gameplay. La publicidad de su juego es desleal y potencialmente engañosa.

➡️ Hace apenas unas horas han bloqueado el trailer extendido en una suscripción de Netflix por unas horas.
Esto trata de sentar otro precedente con el que se quiere imponer un early access de pago para tráileres, contenidos de márketing y promoción del juego que ahora también quieren rentabilizar a costa del usuario.

➡️ Y si todo esto os parece poco, van a embargar totalmente a la prensa, códigos de análisis, van a imponer NDAs y mermar totalmente a la media de videojuegos de acceder e informar libremente, previo a la salida del juego.

Rockstar Games y en definitiva, Take Two, es una empresa corporativista que está haciendo lo mismo exacto que Sony, forzando a todo el mundo sin límite para comprar, tratando de sentar nuevas bases para encarecer la industria y yendo de la mano con las plataformas que actúan como ella, contra derechos de consumidores y trabajadores, con el solo objetivo de hacer que paguemos más y todas las veces posibles por productos que, al final, ni siquiera son de nuestra propiedad.

➡️ Comprar su juego es defender su visión de la cultura del gaming, en la que nosotros como usuarios no somos dueños de nada ni tenemos voz ni voto, si no que pasaremos a ser meras carteras abiertas para ellos.

This is genuinely a good reason to stop using AI. Even if you don’t care about either the environmental impact or their training on stolen data (which you should, but I digress), think of it like this:

If I see your video and my first impression is an AI thumbnail, my first reaction is gonna be:
“If you didn’t want to put in the effort to make a good thumbnail, why should I believe you put in the effort to make a good video?”

People don’t want to watch a creator who cuts corners like that.
