The life of Erfan Esfandiari, a 19-year-old from Isfahan, is in immediate and serious danger. Erfan is one of the 12 defendants in the Alikhani Square case in Isfahan. He has been sentenced to death on charges including “moharebeh” (waging war against God) and “corruption on earth” in connection with the protests.

Authorities at Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan have summoned his family for a final visit, raising grave concerns that his inhumane execution could be carried out at dawn on Sunday.
