The vote is the foundation of our country.

Because it is from the vote, which is supposed to be protected by the Election Commission, that our Constitution gets its power. From the Constitution, our laws are made; and from our laws emerge our institutions. This is a chain.

This chain defines modern India.

So, the central question here is: this is not just an attack on the vote. This is an attack on the idea, on the basic infrastructure, on the expression of every single Indian person.

🚨 GYANESH KUMAR MUST RESIGN.

2/3 Election Commissioners objected to the SIR process. Yet it was pushed ahead by Gyanesh Kumar.

@RahulGandhi ji's predictions have all come true. As the BJP has lost public support, a compromised Election Commission is keeping it afloat.

Who authorised the “unknown” IT cell to delete and add voters? Who controls India’s voter data? Why were the Commissioners’ objections ignored?

It is a serious crisis of democratic trust. India deserves an independent Election Commission, not a 'Yes Man' from Amit Shah's office.

The Election Commission is three people, not ONE: a Chief and two Election Commissioners, equal in rank.

By law they decide together. Unanimously if they can, by majority if they can't. Two of three is a majority.
