And I hope that the next generation of healthcare workers don’t behave like their predecessors

Nigerians are not serious; Nigerians are hypocrites. We don’t care about the country we just keep complaining, hoping our saviors will come from space. Everyone is now shouting medical negligence, yenyen. You were here when JOHESU went on strike; you were here when NARD went on strike, yet you said nothing.

Why were they striking? Poor working environments and welfare packages, but you thought all these did not concern you. You still want to walk into a public hospital and get the best treatment. They told you doctors and other healthcare workers are leaving the country en masse, yet you still think the hospitals are adequately staffed to attend to you on time.

Most of the private hospitals you trust so much are occupied by quacks. Just know this.
