@Albert_618 Need an edge first imo. Have had an 8 month window in my first 2 years where i'd take everything with no second thoughts and pristine risk management, ended up bleeding slowly instead of fast due to lack of a real edge.
But yes once edge is there, psychology is king
@Albert_618 Executions, but even after years of execution there has to be some sort of linear track record myfxbook/darwinex.
Executions can be the beginning, but executions can be done on demo as well, or multiple losses hidden behind that win. Track record is king.
@jeeniuzx The fear wouldn't come from not trusting the normal variance, but more from capital preservation. Seeing as I took an aggressive 2% approach to maximize gains, at one point I want to cut that.
If I was on 1% I would let probabilities play out without ever reducing.
@jeeniuzx Makes sense. I wasn't specific enough.
What I meant was something more like say you know your strategy occurs a maximum of 6-8 losses in a row, never experienced beyond 9 in years of live trading. Then you have your 10th loss, then you reduce risk, does it make more sense?
@sebtrading Have you backtested how much you would've made/lost more if you were to take all trades x amount of pips higher?
I implemented this last year and it worked wonders for me, but I'm only in 30-40 pip daytrades so I don't know for you.
@shizzyc95@Abelxo_wsbfx@sebtrading If you're following the guru's path and cannot trade at least learn sales and marketing, trying to sell something with 2 likes per post doesn't end up well
@shizzyc95@Abelxo_wsbfx@sebtrading Idk who should learn to read. He specifically said there are those studying "it" as in what he's teaching/posting about. Why are you replying that you're studying under his post if not related to him? You want clients by spamming others' page. Build something of value first
