Just spoke with @SecGenNATO. I assured him that Romania will continue to be a staunch Ally. At the same time, we count on @NATO to deliver ironclad security for Romania. We will focus on defense investments to strengthen the transatlantic bond which is vital for both Romania and the Alliance.
Congratulations, dear @NicusorDanRO, on being elected President of Romania!
Moldova and Romania stand together, supporting one another and working side by side for a peaceful, democratic, and European future for all our citizens.
CNN aired an interview with Russian imperialist Aleksandr Dugin, who openly advocates the genocide of Ukrainians, calls for continued war against "European globalists" and proposes his neo-fascist Fourth Political Theory. Do Americans need to hear this Kremlin propaganda @CNN?
“Putinism has won in the US.”
My conversation with Russian political philosopher Alexander Dugin – known to some as “Putin’s brain” – on the ideological bond between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin:
BREAKING: Opposition leader @Helenkhosh was subjected to physical abuse and inhuman, degrading treatment after her detention, which is prohibited under the European Convention on Human Rights, Article 3 (prohibition of torture), and which, sadly, reflects the systemic violence against the unlawfully imprisoned protesters in Georgia.
Elene breaks her silence in an effort to encourage others to speak up, and to convey to the people how others, less experienced persons can be intimidated and abused after detention.
Police officers Nino Chkhartishvili and Davit Bolotashvili tied her hands back in handcuffs and hit her in her jaw and teeth. This was at a police station on Ramishvili. Later, at the Dighomi Temporary Accommodation Center (a pre-trial detention center), policewomen Nino Chkhartishvili, Salome Lashkhia and an unnamed one again held Elene’s hands on her back and fully undressed her against her will.
We request and expect adequate assessment and condemnation by the friends of Georgia and our international partners!
Elene is the Chair of @DroaParty, a member of @ALDEParty (@RenewEurope) and one of the leaders of the largest democratic coalition in Georgia, @CoalitionGEO.
Zelenskyy’s press conference following the “Coalition of the Willing” summit — key points:
🔹 President Zelensky said the U.S. keeps changing the terms of the critical minerals agreement: “It seemed we had agreed on a framework deal followed by a full one. Now the U.S. is proposing to sign a full agreement immediately, which requires further review.”
🔹 “There will be no lifting of any sanctions against Russia until the war ends with a just peace — this is the signal from European countries.”
🔹 According to Zelensky, the number of countries willing to contribute to a peacekeeping contingent is increasing.
🔹 “Security guarantees are one of the main topics of the summit. France🇫🇷 and the United Kingdom🇬🇧 are key accelerators of this process. These summits are laying the foundation for peace.”
🔹 “We will open production platforms for drones not only in Ukraine, but also abroad.”
🔹 “Ukraine’s position is very clear: Europe must be at the negotiating table when it comes to ending the war — without exception. We are not considering other initiatives.” Zelensky noted that France and the UK will represent Europe.
🔹 “Putin is not ready for direct negotiations. We are not afraid of any format of talks. We understand the complexity.”
🔹 On the negotiations in Saudi Arabia: “It was important for us to unblock assistance, regain access to intelligence, and demonstrate that we seek to end the war through diplomacy — to stop further loss of life.”
🔹 On a temporary ceasefire: “I don’t believe these are reasonable agreements. Today there were strikes on Kherson — on the train station and the energy infrastructure. The city lost power. I believe there should be a response from the United States.”

There no chance Ukraine will sign this insane and offensive minerals deal. This is just a way for Trump to blame the breakdown of negotiations on Zelensky instead of Putin and walk away from Ukraine
The meeting of the ‘Coalition of the Willing’ in Paris is about to begin under the leadership of 🇫🇷 President @EmmanuelMacron and🇬🇧 Prime Minister @Keir_Starmer.
Strong support for 🇫🇷/🇬🇧 led efforts to prepare Europe’s contribution to security reassurance forces in Ukraine.
We must urgently transform our political actions into practical and military reality.
The Government needs to stop delaying and publish the Strategic Defence Review. I can understand its reluctance, because once it is out in the open the pressure to deliver its recommendations will be intense. Unfortunately, we have reached a geopolitical inflection point where Britain must step up to the podium and start leading by example in defence.
JD Vance and his mates clearly aren’t fit to run a group chat, let alone the world’s strongest military force. It has to make our security services nervous about the intelligence we’re sharing with them.
OMG. Please read every last word of this shocker, including the emojis.
Amateur hour? Is the president, is America, being properly served?
Dangerous.

NEW! U.S. pause on intelligence sharing with Ukraine “has already cost lives,” former UK ambassador to Washington, Sir Peter Westmacott, says.
‘Quite a lot of people’ have lost their lives in Ukraine because Kyiv's defensive capabilities were hindered by the freeze, he says
In this global political turmoil, a world that feels like a parallel universe, there’s little space or attention for #Georgia, a country of just 3 million. It’s time to change that. Here’s a brief yet extensive take on it: 🧵
