I nearly made a financial mistake today.

Thesis A- Deposit and lock 300,000 on Opay for a promised 16%. Take not of the percentage. This percentage will return 310,600 after 90 days. A profit of 10,600 naira only.

Thesis B- Borrow the same amount from Opay at a discounted amount of 12.6%. After 90 days you will have to pay over 411,000. An additional 111k on interest.

Why is the interest for both party having such a high margin?
