Six months ago today, we lost our Founder, Ms. Shirley Raines.
She turned giving into a movement, and you’ve kept it alive.
Now, in her honor:
🎒 Back-to-school drive: Aug. 29 in Vegas
💜 Shirley Raines Legacy Grant: $1,000 to 5 people every quarter
The movement continues 💜
I just found a beautiful scripture: Isaiah 41:10.
There will always be trials and tribulations in life, but God will carry you through every storm in your life. And give you strength to make it, even when you feel like you can't.❤️
im going to get the family. The marriage. The happiness. The peace . The home . The love. The financial freedom! it’s a must i speak it into existence!!!!!
The Bible is so clear on how important it is never to look back. Not at an old position, an old ex, an old friendship, or even old ways that God has brought you out of. There are many people in the Bible but in clear words, God tells us to "remember Lot's wife"; who turned into a pillar of salt! Stuck in time. I pray that when you're tempted to "go back", he reminds you that you have so much to look forward to.
I saw a Tik Tok video of a woman cleaning her home that said "taking care of what God has already given me, so he knows I appreciate and care for what's to come. No matter where life takes you, you have to learn to take care of what he's given you otherwise, he can't give you more".
This is your reminder🫶🏽
"Maybe in another lifetime."
No. This is all you get. So please, just fight for the things that crack light into your life, fight for the things that soften you. Protect the people you love, leave them better than you found them.
You have to stop forcing “lifelong bestie” energy on people who are really just “brunch friend,” “outside friend,” or “I only call you when I need to laugh” friend. Once I learned how to categorize people, I stopped feeling betrayed & started feeling clear. Everybody not a villain… some folks are just in the wrong category.
“You don’t know what I was going through”
Naw, I didn’t because you didn’t disclose that. But, I do know what I went through as a consequence of it and I ain’t deserve that.
When i was 22 I went on a date and after about an hour and a half I got the sense that we weren’t a match.
But the guy reminded me of my friend, so I told him and asked if I could introduce him to her.
He said yes, they hit it off instantly, and they got married a few years later.
Be generous. Hook your friends up.
They may not be right for you, but they’re right for someone else.
