@ikenganation In the precolonial era. That imagery is not portraying ndị Igbo nor the Language as modern or progressive. Imagine our children in the diaspora learning Igbo Language and seeing that image. They see a people and language that should be a museum. Other than this,
Casually turned on Japan v Netherlands game. The Japanese national team has Japanese men playing for Japan as you’d expect. The Netherlands? Not a lick of European ancestry. Literally all Africans.
Europe is dead.
That story of Rehab should be taught properly as an act of cowardice which should be discouraged. P.s: She had a choice to save the whole nation, but decided to see them all perish
The story of Rehab is the most nation sabotaging story told/taught by the church as an act of faith/courage. No, it is stupidity, cowardice and act of terrorism. It is the same thing that is prevailing in our society, when we say “It will favour me and my family”.
That is how a nation is destroyed because of stupidity of one woman who said “protect me and my family, but you can kill every other families out there” .
What’s one thing your parents said growing up that you still remember today?

I noticed my child is always watching, especially in difficult moments. Before expecting emotional regulation from my child, I always ask myself: "What am I teaching through my reactions?"
The way I respond today becomes the voice they carry tomorrow.
This can really be frustrating😑😑😑
You call their name three times.
No response.
You ask a question.
They're staring at a screen.
You try to connect.
They scroll.
So naturally, the phone becomes the enemy.
But what if we're fighting the symptom instead of the cause?🤔

It means that before we focus on controlling the screen, we should also be curious about what's happening behind it.
Because children who feel seen, heard, and connected are less likely to look for all of those things online.
The goal isn't just less screen time.
@rukky_nate Why do our men focus so much on mundane based test and never on value based test for a wife? Tests that keep your relationship when it hits bottom stage of relationship? Here are my taught on this Egbon of mine's position:

Seriously I do not understand the need for washing plate and clothing as a test to a would be wife. Those things are mundane. What about testing for 1. Intelligence 2. Does she come from a good home? Does the mother respect the father? 3. Compassion and kindness 4. Neatness.
that posses those above, there is no way that washing and cleaning will be a problem to her. But I guess that what tickles the fancy of men are not value based tests.

If your woman is coming over for the first time, make sure there’s food in the house.
Prepare the meals yourself and leave the plates in the sink after you eat.
After sex, if there is any, don’t make the bed.
If at no point she offers to cook, wash the plates, or make the bed, don’t say a word.
Observe her over a few more visits. If it becomes a pattern, end that relationship.
It’s not in your place to domesticate or teach her simple courtesy.
5. Integrity 6. Aligned spiritual/faith world view 7. Aligned financial worldview. 8. Aligned future projection
As a man, when a woman visits you, you should treat your home as your home and her as a visitor. That tells her you control your own home. If a man finds a woman
