As the 1st day of the new year comes to a close. I really want to take a moment to say THANK YOU! As I continue to grow and step out of my own way, look forward to some exciting changes as I get to the business of cultivating what I want to see!
This is when we develop a list of things we should change or do better through the year. As 2022 begins, I want my IEP parents to think about ways to be better ALL year long.
Happy New Year from us to you!
Habari Gani? Today's principle is Imani = Faith. The principle reminds us that we should continue to have faith that our work is not in vain. Faith in ourselves, our allies, our accomplices, our teachers will overcome challenges, and justice and equality will become a way of life
Habari Gani? Today's principle is Kuumba = Creativity. This principle reminds us that we are ALL creative, and our creativity can be used to better the world around us daily. Remember, small steps lead to significant accomplishments.
Habari Gani? Today's principle is Nia= Purpose. This principle encourages us to build better communities, especially with all the work that needs to be done around equity, inclusion, diversity, and access.
Habari Gani? Today's principle is Ujima = Collective Work & Responsibility. I love today's principle for SPED community because it reminds us that helping each other & working together to solve problems is important.
Imagine if this principle was applied to EVERY IEP meeting.
