We’ve just published our manifesto for the Scottish Parliament election next year. Mairi, our Policy and Campaigns Officer, explains more. It would really help if you could share our manifesto with your MSP. You can do this by completing our simple form ➡️ https://t.co/IIqbOZHV3S
I'm not watching Traitors. It is well produced, dramatic TV. But there's enough cunning, betrayal, lying, mistrust & suspicion in the world already. And glamorous folk prancing about Ardross - originally Duke of Sutherland's shooting lodge - is an uncomfortable echo of Clearance.
A new Parkinson’s research centre in Dundee is being hailed as a major milestone in the search for a cure.
The centre will receive £10m in funding over five years and work in partnership with the UK Dementia Research Institute.

Congratulations to everyone who took part in this weekend's Parkinson’s Scottish International Open table tennis competition! There were more than 80 players from our own home nations as well as Spain, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Sweden and Malta🏴 🏴 🇮🇪 🇬🇧 🇪🇸 🇩🇪 🇩🇰 🇸🇪 🇦🇹 🇲🇹
Lets be real, if a Democrat was in the WH trump would be in Texas right now saying this wouldn't have happened if he was president, abbott and ted cruz would be on Fox 'news' every hour saying the federal government failed and Fox 'news' would be blaming open borders.
When we opened the thistle I said that all eyes would be on Glasgow. Today former prime minister of New Zealand @HelenClarkNZ visited the facility and met the staff there. Really encouraging words of support for Glasgows efforts here 👇
17 million people just lost health care.
18 million kids just lost school meals.
3 million Americans just lost food assistance.
And $3.5 trillion was added to the deficit.
All for a tax cut for Trump’s billionaire donors.
The ultimate betrayal.
Excellent coverage of @MGALBA annual report in @heraldscotland by @brianjaffa It explains serious financial challenges of trying to maintain quality of #Gaelic TV so it has a chance of competing with global digital channels. More Gov investment needed.
Today is Scotland’s National #DayofMovement. And we're talking about how all forms of movement can make you feel good. Particularly people with long-term conditions like Parkinson's. Big or small, all movements are counted. Here's our own @MandoMckay on the benefits of walking.
We couldn't do what we do without all our volunteers. Whatever you do. Whether it's helping to run a support group or taking part in research. Raising funds or awareness. You're all a part of our drive to be there for every Parkinson's journey. #VolunteersWeek 🧵
It's #VolunteersWeek! And we want to say "thank you" to everyone who gives their time to support us. You make such a difference, being there for people on their journey with Parkinson's. Here's Alice with a special message on behalf of us all in Scotland.
Parkinson’s is a complex condition that requires high quality health and care. Approximately 30,000 people don’t have access to that care.
That’s why we’re launching our Nurse Appeal. £36 could fund an hour of specialist care. Read more: https://t.co/ziiXXsz0UX
Not sure where to start really... By this definition, I spend all my nights "in a croft". Whether or not it's creepy. 'The House' is more apt. And it still looks strange.
Last year we held a summit to look at ways to make sure people with Parkinson's get their medicine on time, every time, in hospital. We also talked about the barriers and how to overcome them. We’ve now published a report which you can read here ➡️ https://t.co/ZNcUpoJpYC
