This is what Peter Obi said ‘’You have people at home in Nigeria today who are begging you for money. He said again Sending money only helps people survive the hardship for a short time. It doesn’t solve the real problem. The real problem is bad leadership,
So instead of just sending money, tell your relatives to vote for better leaders in the 2027 election. Thank you for accepting that your drug lord has failed.
You don turn to banga boy!
Just another Day of the People running into their President 😍
In 2027 a Human Being would be Elected President of this beautiful Nation His name is Peter Gregory Obi and we all would be OK😍✌🏽🎤🇳🇬
“Go and verify” when asked about Peter Obi, but “the FBI should not open their case” when it comes to Tinubu. A man was asked to choose a candidate, and these were his responses. The question is: are we choosing leaders based on principles and accountability, or defending politicians based on loyalty?”
—— Man reacts when asked which candidate will he vote for..
"We are NOT living in Nigeria, we are ALREADY walking dead people!
So this 2027, as APC try to intimidate NDC,
Let it be Stone for støne 🪨
Stick for Stick
Nigeria must change by fire by force!"
LOSE YOUR FEAR!
Thank you mama!

One Month Discount on Petrol: From Reactive Policies to Flawed Outcomes!
The announcement by the APC led Federal Government offering a 30-day discount on price of petrol to relieve the acute hardship and hunger caused Nigerians by its unplanned removal of subsidy can only be described as another very reactive and confused approach to governance that is now the culture of the Tinubu Government.
I had delayed in reacting to the announcement just to give the benefit of doubt and watch the outcome of the policy. Now, having assessed the outcomes, the policy is a substitution of political optics for sound policy.
As Nigerians will recall, President Bola Tinubu on May 29, 2023, most carelessly removed fuel subsidy without any consultation or proper assessment of the negative impacts of such policies on our economy particularly on the livelihood of ordinary Nigerians.
Moreover, the careless removal of fuel subsidy was followed by other very badly sequenced policies such as the floating of the naira and tax reforms, all implemented in a very disorganized, incompetent and insensitive manner in addition to using three budgets at the same time with the attendant lack of transparency and accountability. Collectively, these policies stoked inflation in all sectors, pushing in most cases unbearable price hikes across board which placed severe shocks and other adverse consequences on Nigerians.
Expectedly, the outcomes are what they are- increasing multi-dimensional poverty, skyrocketing costs of goods and services, shrinking opportunities, exit of many businesses, mounting unemployment, disturbing insecurity, widening inequality, forced migration of our youths and general decline in the well-being of Nigerians.
Most unfortunately, rather than engage in detailed and published regulatory impact assessment of their reactive policies, the President Bola Tinubu’s led government has again demonstrated their well-known incompetence and insensitivity to governance.
With a detailed and published regulatory impact assessment of policies, a competent government would have pursued robust and sincere engagements and consultations with key stakeholders and ordinary Nigerians to recraft and implement inclusive and sustainable socio-economic growth strategies and policies.
What really does the President Bola Tinubu led government want to achieve with a one-month discount of less than 5% on fuel cost. Will it reduce poverty, unemployment, insecurity, and inequality? Will it increase productivity and exports? Is it a test to ascertain if subsidy should be restored? Is it another political gambit in the face of threats of electoral loss in the 2027 election? Too many questions, no answer!
"The unfortunate incident that happened today in Enugu State, where NDC supporters were att@cked by political thugs, has reportedly claimed one life. Those in government should know that when anarchy comes, it consumes everybody."
- His Excellency Peter Obi, the NDC presidential candidate.
HONOURING OUR HEROES BEYOND TRIBUTES
Today, I joined other Nigerians in Awka to celebrate the life and legacy of a distinguished senior military officer and diplomat, our departed elder, Lieutenant General Chikadibia Isaac Obiakor (Rtd.).
General Obiakor served our fatherland with distinction as a senior officer of the Nigerian Army. Beyond his military service, he also served as a diplomat and Military Adviser at the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations. He truly lived an exemplary life of service worthy of emulation.
In my remarks, I reiterated my position that the men and women of our Armed Forces, both serving and retired, deserve the highest honour and respect, not only in life but also in death. Political leaders should personally identify with and honour those who have dedicated their lives to defending our nation.
The recent loss of our military personnel in the aircraft crash and the subsequent helicopter incident further reminds us of the sacrifices our men and women in uniform make every day for our country.
Our retired military personnel deserve timely pensions, accessible healthcare, and decent living conditions, while our serving personnel deserve adequate equipment, proper training, and effective medical care.
Those who defend our nation deserve a nation that protects their dignity and well-being.
May God Almighty grant General Obiakor eternal rest, comfort his family, and protect all our serving personnel. -PO
MY VISIT TO THE MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA
Today, I honoured the invitation of the newly inaugurated President of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Dr. Eric Okoye, and other former Presidents of the Association to attend his inauguration ceremony at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos.
On the sidelines of the event, I interacted with the new President and members of MAN and reiterated the enormous potential of Nigeria’s manufacturing sector.
With the right government policies, an enabling business environment, and stronger collaboration between the public and private sectors, Nigeria can significantly increase the contribution of manufacturing to our GDP.
Manufacturing currently contributes about 7.5% of Nigeria’s GDP, compared with about 14% in Egypt, 15% in Morocco, 25% in Vietnam, 19% in Indonesia, and 20% in Bangladesh
We must therefore deliberately move from a consumption-driven economy to a productive economy, one that produces, creates jobs, adds value and competes successfully in the global market.
A stronger manufacturing sector will expand employment opportunities, strengthen our productive capacity, reduce our dependence on imports, increase exports, and improve the standard of living of our people.
I congratulate the new President and his team and wish them a successful and productive tenure. I look forward to continued engagement with the manufacturing sector as we work towards building a more productive and prosperous Nigeria.

My Visit to the Nigerian Air Force Facility
Further to my message yesterday, I visited the Nigerian Air Force facility in Abuja today to formally sign the condolence register following the unfortunate aircraft crash.
The visit gave me another opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices made daily by the men and women of our Armed Forces and other security agencies in the line of duty. These courageous Nigerians put their lives on the line to defend our nation and protect our people. We must never take their service and sacrifice for granted.
I extend my deepest condolences to the Nigerian Air Force and to the families, colleagues, and loved ones of those who lost their lives.
May God grant eternal rest to the departed and give their families the strength and fortitude to bear this painful loss.
May God continue to protect all those who serve our country. -PO
Today, I was surrounded by cancer survivors, and the encounter was deeply moving. Their presence reminded me what is at stake in cancer care. Behind every statistic is a Nigerian whose survival should never depend on wealth or the ability to travel abroad.
Cancer care should not be a privilege reserved for those who can afford it. Nigeria needs at least five fully equipped, specialised cancer centres in each of its six geopolitical zones, alongside stronger prevention, screening, early detection, research and affordable treatment.
The goal is simple: no Nigerian should die because care is too far away, diagnosis came too late, or treatment is unaffordable. The survivors reminded me that behind every policy are human lives and the hope of a longer life.
Healthcare is not a luxury. Survival should not depend on geography or income.
Cancer care should not be a privilege. It should be a right.

Building a Better Nigeria Through Service.
Yesterday in Lagos, I attended a dinner organised for Lagos NDC candidates and hosted by the Lagos Obidient Movement.
I used the occasion to remind the candidates that seeking public office is not about titles, positions, or the privileges associated with them. It is about accepting the responsibility to serve and committing ourselves to building a better Nigeria.
Having witnessed the suffering and hardship that our people continue to endure, we must remain conscious of the tremendous responsibility placed in our hands. Nigerians deserve leaders who are accessible, actively engaged, accountable, and willing to lead by example.
Our politics must establish a standard for others to follow. It must therefore be founded on competence, character, capacity, compassion, and a genuine commitment to the common good.
A better Nigeria is within reach, but achieving it requires leaders who are prepared to lead by example and remain accessible.
A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
The way the accusations died a natural death!
Why won’t I vote this man?
This mfs won’t have stopped if they had more shit on him
I repeat,I am not looking for a saint to be my president…every man has his shortcomings
But I’ll give good character a chance!!
@Wizarab10 Nigerians brought this upon themselves through complacency and the choices we made. Whether directly or indirectly, we are all accomplices in the bad governance we are experiencing today.
@AnambraNewMedia Speaking so poorly of a former governor of your own state is deeply unfortunate. It reflects badly on the current Anambra State Government and raises serious questions about its sense of patriotism, respect for institutions, and commitment to the state’s history and progress.
