@RGVzoomin@RGVzoomin Ramu, Read your last sentence. That's precisely the problem. Deployment of AI is still human agency. Still a discretion of the Humans. Your proposition, though profound, is at the mercy of those who are replaceable by AI. Who wants to be replaced and irrelevant?

@WhimsicalPress It's so sad to see you going @WhimsicalPress . I've been a proud part of her first publication,Seasons, a life time joy for me to cherish. I wish I could do something to bring it back to life one day, if not right now. Thank You Lily. Hope to partner with you in this journey soon
When cash rich publications also charge writers just for reading, @WhimsicalPress did everything out of pocket - just out of pure love for literature.
Lily - Take a bow for your passion and for your first (and beautiful) publication
Every first is a treasure; a prize moment to cherish.
My first literary work in print -
'Seasons' anthology by @WhimsicalPress
Thank you Lily for choosing my two poems - ๐
And sending it across - you're Special๐

Not all star studded/studio films/Academy wins are superlative works despite their tedious decision making process. There're dumb samples also.
Small time lit mags also have brilliant pieces. So,keep knocking doors till ur knuckles swell/go numb. Be happy with what comes ur way.
@PaperBlurt@BethanyJarmul
Not necessary that high profile lit mags publish high quality writing. The factors are-
Taste and sensibilities of editor's/editorial team
Options they have to choose from at that given time period
Their frame of mind in the given time.
Some confessions:
1) I have NEVER got an acceptance via Submittable, thus I assume my account is cursed
2) I hate waking up to rejections (2 this morning)
3) I have a disorder that halts me from understanding which lit mags that are a great fit for my stories
That is all.
@Mslexia You never take a break from writing. You,at best, take a break from pen&paper/ key board.
Something keeps popping/ flowing/ inseminating/ breeding/ brooding... Writing is a perennial river.
Sorry to differ. Bad/ wise decisions are post facto interpretations only. Everyone chooses wisely - 'in the given' moment. And judgement is only in hindsight. Wisdom is to move on and not regret. Regret is a wasted emotion.
@ElenaRuiz_Poet Anything and everything one sees or feels or imagines exists - for that one. That's reality for me. If you feel it, it does exist - for you. Such reality doesn't need anyone's validation.
Entire January, it will be tweets of-
First "Submission/ Rejection/ Acceptance/ Publication/ Prize" of the year.
By December, everything becomes Statistics/ Data Analytics.
@violavolee I didn't get the '26 words' part, but I'd say one thing - nothing of us is original, technically (and philosophically) speaking. What we, all artists, are doing is re-creating.
Perhaps, 'Unique' is more apt replacement of 'Original'.
You're unique, create something unique. โ๏ธ
