Outrage Over FG N8.05BN Budget for Churches and Mosques

Nigeria are outraged over the discrepancies In the 2026 budget which includes ₦8.05 billion for churches and mosques.

Public accountability organisation “Tracka” revealed ₦1.91 billion for seven church projects and ₦6.14 billion for fifty-two mosque projects buried inside ministries that have nothing to do with religion.

Man Dies at Mosque in Ogo-Oluwa, @InsideOsogbo Osogbo

A man has been confirmed de@d following an incident at the Adigun Memorial Mosque in the Ogo-Oluwa area, in unclear circumstances

According to sources accounts, the man reportedly walked into the mosque and caused a disturbance, allegedly thre@tening the Imam and making disturbing statements that raised concern among worshippers.

Members of the congregation were said to have rushed to the Ataoja Police Divisional Headquarters to lodge a report.

However, by the time they returned to the mosque with police officers, the man was reportedly already dead.

His body was subsequently evacuated from the scene and deposited at a morgue.

Controversy has since trailed the incident, as some individuals claim the man may have been beaten prior to his death.

These claims, however, remain unverified.

As of the time of this report, the authorities have not disclosed the actual details surrounding the cause of his death, and no official statement has been released by the police or the deceased's family.
