The intelligence community assesses that Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, and Pakistan have been researching and developing an array of novel, advanced, or traditional missile delivery systems, with nuclear and conventional payloads, that put our homeland within range.
Former Afghan president Hamid Karzai says he "condemns in the strongest possible terms" the Pakistani bombing in Kabul.
He told @SkyYaldaHakim he wants to see more "civilised" relations between both countries.

Statement by the International Human Rights Foundation (IHRF)
The International Human Rights Foundation strongly condemns the reported bombardment by Pakistan of a rehabilitation hospital in Kabul, Afghanistan treating drug addicts, an attack that has reportedly killed a large number of vulnerable patients seeking medical care and recovery.
Facilities dedicated to treatment, rehabilitation, and humanitarian care must never become targets in any conflict or security operation. Patients in such institutions are among the most vulnerable members of society — individuals who came seeking help, dignity, and a chance to rebuild their lives.
We are deeply disturbed by reports that many of the victims were unarmed civilians undergoing treatment.
The International Human Rights Foundation calls for:
• An independent international investigation into this incident
• Accountability for those responsible
• Immediate measures to ensure the protection of medical and rehabilitation facilities
Attacks on medical institutions violate the most basic principles of international humanitarian law and human rights norms.
The world must not remain silent when places of healing are turned into sites of tragedy.

After fifteen years in business, I can tell you:
The person who responds fastest usually wins. Not perfect responses, just quick ones. Speed signals priority and priority builds trust. While others craft the perfect email, close the deal.
Heartbroken by the martyrdom of young cricketers in Urgun, Paktika, targeted in a brutal attack by Pakistan’s military regime.
This inhumane & shameful act seeks to undermine our brave nation, yet it binds us closer together.
We will never forget their sacrifice and memory.
I really love this autochrome portrait of two Afghan men, photographed by Stéphane Passet in Peshawar (now in present-day Pakistan), in January 1914. I'm sure they felt a million dollars in their embroidered bling. It is original colour from 111-years-ago, not colourised.
