This humble yet brave whistleblower confronted the abusers, escalated to company, got fired, took video proof, made her son call a childcare helpline that shed light on the issue. Now she’s been arrested for not doing it in a sophisticated way. Her bail must be crowdsourced.

A daycare employee at Capgemini's Bengaluru campus couldn't bear the abuse of the kids at the centre.

She reported it to supervisor, but instead of taking action, they fired her. She then became a whistleblower and leaked videos that exposed the abuse.

In the videos, toddlers were made to sit inside the drum of a front-loading washing machine, had water sprayed into their mouths using a toilet jet spray, were locked inside bathrooms, and were forced into narrow, water-filled pipes to frighten them. The videos triggered outrage, forcing authorities to act.

Today, according to media reports, the police have arrested the whistleblower only for allegedly "leaking sensitive videos." Lol! What a system! A poor woman with a clear conscience stood up to the powerful and went public, not for personal gain or with any malicious intent, but solely to protect those children. And she's the one who gets arrested.

Vehicle buyers pay huge upfront taxes, fees, and cesses. In return, they deserve the basic right to buy the exact fuel their vehicle engines were designed to run on.

If the govt wanted to "experiment" with E20 fuel, they should have done it responsibly by either buying a sample fleet of second-hand cars to test in a controlled settings or invite willing citizens to opt-in using subsidized fuel.

Forcing a mandatory policy onto everyone first and checking if it damages their engines later is outrageous. Treating the entire public as involuntary test subjects is a massive overreach.

• Regular pest control measures were being carried out and records maintained
• FSSAI License displayed at a prominent location
• Hot water facility available for washing and sanitizing utensils

• Desserts, non-vegetarian food items, mushrooms, and chopped onions were stored without proper labels

• Dustbins were kept open near operational areas

During a food safety inspection, @CMC_Offcl teams found rotten lettuce in the chiller, unlabelled cut vegetables beyond their use-by date and flies in the food preparation area at a Subway outlet in #RajarajeshwarNagar, #Kondapur.

The outlet scored just 58/96 (60%) in the hygiene assessment. Rotten and unlabelled vegetables were discarded on the spot and an Improvement Notice will be issued.

They ordered Harpic Bathroom Cleaner (1L Pack of 2) from Flipkart and felt something was off about the packaging. They reached out to Reckitt, shared photos and proof, and received a response confirming that the products were counterfeit. According to Reckitt, the label artwork and manufacturing details did not match their official records.

What caught my attention was something else.

While checking older reviews of the seller, the same batch number, UTB678, was visible in review photos posted 1 to 3 years ago.

If the same batch number has been showing up for years, this raises a bigger question. Is this really just one seller, or is there a larger counterfeit supply chain operating in the background?

Counterfeit household products are not just a consumer rights issue. They can also become a safety issue.

Sharing this so more people can check the products they buy online and verify anything that looks suspicious.

The Govt has banned Telegram in India until June 22 over the use of the app by 'cheating rackets' for NEET-UG.

The Babu or the minister whose "big brain" idea this was should get the Param-Chaantt award.

They are assuming that the cheating network and their clients don't understand what a VPN is and can't access Telegram through one.

They think that because the paper was shared on Telegram last time, if it is leaked, it will only be shared on Telegram again. Are Discord, Signal, and WhatsApp a joke to them?

So, why not make your system foolproof and make leaks impossible instead of banning a mode of communication? Because it's a slippery slope. If the paper leaks and is shared tomorrow, you'll ban other apps too, and eventually the whole internet. But then again, papers were leaked and shared long before the internet era, too.

The biggest scam in car ownership starts after you buy the car.

Today I understood the new business model of car companies.

Sell the car once.
Recover money from servicing for the next 10 years.

I gave my Honda for regular service.

No major issue. No warning lights. Nothing.

Still the service center kept adding things:

Recommended cleaning
Preventive replacement
Engine protection
Special treatment

By evening, the final bill looked bigger than expected for a car with no actual problem.

The smartest thing car companies did was this:

Make customers feel they are risking damage if they say no.

Fear has become a business model in servicing.
