Today was a blessing. Final Fantasy 8 holds an extremely dear place in my heart. It was the first game I played as a kid, where I fell into another universe and was completely hooked. Decades later, I get to see one of my fav summons from FF8 become a boss in Final Fantasy 14.
My heart exploded from joy experiencing this. I am so excited that I am alive to see something as COOL AS THIS FIGHT! I streamed it today and enjoyed myself so much, I wanted to share that joy with everyone in hopes that me freaking out and laughing makes your day a little brighter ❤️
Thank you Final Fantasy XIV for making me smile ear to ear today. Such a cool experience. FREGGIN DOOMTRAIN HAHAHA OMG SO SICK!

@PlayStation I have been a pretty big fan of playstation and swapped to console gaming and owning physical media a few years ago. I knew this was coming eventually but this still sucks. I love owning discs for my games. Waking up today disappointed 😞
Uploaded the kill on Ultimecia (No Commentary) that I did to get my platinum trophy today. I love this boss, she is such a cool final boss for such an amazing RPG game. https://t.co/bat5Ue4VUu
This is a message to the young me 26 years ago that booted up his first Final Fantasy game he rented from the video store on the PS1. Check it out dude! I finally 100% completed our favourite FF game!
An older me now gets to sit back in my chair and smile knowing that a did something a younger version of me would think is the coolest shit ever.
This platinum is very special to me. For more than decade I was extremely addicted to WoW. I missed a lot of gaming gems that alot of people praise for years and a few years ago when I quit WoW. I tried to play some other games but would pick them up for an hour or two and then just stop playing. I felt like my attention span was gone and ultimately I kinda fell out of love with games and it was rough.
My friends who I am extremely blessed to have, ended up getting me a PS5 for my birthday a few years back with a copy of FF16. FF16 saved my love for games and re-ignited a flame that burned out. I chipped away at it bit by bit and felt my attention span come back, eventually completing every side quest and beating the game (need to replay on FF mode difficulty for plat).
Since then I have been getting physical games on my ps5 and playing a lot of different games to completion and its been a very fun and fulfilling experience catching up on so many gems that I missed. I got back into Final Fantasy more and wanted to go through the old games and play every single one so I started a weekly ritual I call Final Fantasy Friday (I'm sure someone far more talented and clever than me came up with this first its just what I call it for me).
I have now beaten FF1 and FF2 but in the back of my mind, I wanted to get the platinum trophy for FF8 because it was my first step into an such an amazing franchise. So recently I started chipping away at it and again I got hooked on the same old game I fell in love with. I am so happy I can officially wear the platinum badge with pride. This platinum means a lot to me and holds a special place in my heart.
A younger me would definitely think I'm super cool! Anyways just wanted to share good vibes 🩷 Thanks for reading my ramblings if you took the time to. I hope you have a beautiful day.

My fav day to stream of the week! Final Fantasy Friday Tiiiime! Grab some snacks, get comfy and enjoy some retro Final Fantasy gaming with me over at https://t.co/qRVAvj5R4S today we are gonna see how close we are to finishing FF2! WOO
@KooronNation@de3dsoul Elden Ring will start soon enough, took a lil break from intense combat and started playing Horizon Zero Dawn which has kinda intense combat but game is suuuper good. Finished that and started Pragmata and almost finished that now
@KooronNation@de3dsoul I was stuck on Champion Gundyr for a while, they were all pretty difficult towards the end hey. You get to a scenario where its like. Dual Princes, Champion Gundyr and Nameless King and your like yo where do I go, cos all of these bosses are kind rough LOL. I loved Nameless King
