The Woman of Iniquity
I often hear Christian women proudly claim the title of the Proverbs 31 woman—or at least aspire to embody her virtues. It’s a pious goal; one I’d certainly aim for if I were a woman myself. But in this edition, we’re going to take a different route.

Instead of celebrating the woman we all admire, we’ll explore a metaphorical woman that no true believer would want to imitate. Stick with me as we dig into Proverbs 7, I’m trusting the Holy Spirit to open our hearts to see beyond the symbols and uncover the needed insights...

-The biblical requirement for church leaders to embrace monogamy is a model for everyone. By living according to this principle, church leaders honor God and offer an inspiring example for others to follow. Their lives reflect God's will and guide people to do the same.

TLDR Version
-Polygamy is not of God. God set his desired model for marriage in Gen 2.

-The practice started from Lamech, he is from the lineage of Cain that wasn't guided by God’s counsel but ruled by sin. Patriarchs practiced polygamy as well but it’s not God’s plan.

-God sees polygamy as unfaithfulness, it divides the loyalty due one’s partner. Dissatisfaction is one of the roots of the sin of polygamy, it should be put under check consistently.
