That’s how long it has been since we heard our national anthem being played in the Olympic Games
The wait, to say the least, is excruciating :/
Neeraj Chopra is now our only hope to make this our best Olympics ever, but during these Games something has definitely shifted, both inside the sporting ecosystem & in the general view of sport beyond cricket. Let's not forget how we felt watching our athletes give it their all!
Brilliant in Blue 👏
Congratulations Indian Men’s #Hockey Team on the spectacular victory to give us an Olympic medal after 41 long years. This historic win at #Tokyo2020 will inspire generation of sportspersons. All the very best for future.

India had a rich history of winning gold in hockey before 1980. But there was a medal drought since 41 years hence even this bronze feels like a gold. Maybe this win reignites something.

Blunder of the games?
Serhiy Kulish was a silver medalist from the Rio Games. He qualified for the 50m air rifle final and was in medal contention(4th after 30 targets), he mistakenly shot at a different shooters target
He got 0 points and was soon eliminated in 8th place
Fave moment of the Olympics so far. Barshim (Qatar) and Tamberi (Italy) were tied in the high-jump final. The official is there talking about a prospective jump-off, but Barshim asks immediately: "Can we have two golds?" One look, no words exchanged, they know they're sharing it.
This is not reel. Real #ChakDeIndia from our girls. Even @iamsrk ala Kabir Khan wouldn’t have expected better. The most stunning effort this @Olympics#Tokyo2020
“She held me in her arms and said she knew it all. That sincere encouragement made me cry” - Tai Tzu-Ying on PV Sindhu.
What a champion #PVSindhu is both on and off the court. 👏
A special player, A special human being ❤️
