केंद्रीय परिवहन मंत्री ने लखनऊ-कानपुर एक्सप्रेस-वे के उद्घाटन पर ये भाषण दिया। लेकिन उनका दावा महज 18 दिन में ही गलत साबित हो गया। हालत ये है कि 63 किमी लंबा एक्सप्रेस-वे 18 दिन में 84 जगहों पर धंस चुका है।

NHAI को एक्सप्रेस-वे बनाने वाली कंपनी PNC इंफ्राटेक लिमिटेड को नॉन-परफॉर्मर घोषित करना पड़ा। कंपनी के 3 अफसरों को हटा दिया, अगले 2 साल के लिए बैन भी कर दिया। अब IIT खड़गपुर की टीम एक्सप्रेस-वे की जांच करेगी।
