@NuhuImam@cubana_WL I was about typing this… no matter how late you get to the plane, you’ll find a cabin crew to welcome you and direct you to your seat..
Drake held a concert in Manchester, I bought tickets and went.
The Weeknd held a concert in Manchester, I was also there.
Burna Boy, I dey there.
Chris Brown, I dey front row.
Rema at the O2, na me arrange the seats for everybody.
I have attended so many other concerts and will attend more.
Nobody objected, faulted me or called me a lost cause for attending these concerts or going to stadiums to watch football.
I also have no right to call anyone a lost cause if they go to a stadium for religious activity.
I’d be a tall chunk of hypocrisy if such comments ever came out of me.
Just recently, you held a watch party for an Arsenal game and Arsenal fans attended and there was gleeful moments + memories made. Nobody called them a lost cause.
Do the same.
Leave people alone to do what they like. Stop forming fake deep every time because of the small faux intellectualism you think you’ve come upon. Leave people alone. We will all die eventually, and in 300 years nobody will remember we existed.
Leave people alone.
What do you mean by procured by the FG to all states? Do you mean that the FG borrowed money from World bank and gave it out to states freely without payback terms?
The FG is an on-lender and money is provided by the FG as secondary loans to participating states. States submit expressions of interest, pitch their value chains, and provide counterpart funds.
It is a loan! States pitched and bid for it.
Many years ago when Apple watch was just reigning, I misplaced my charger and wanted to buy another one, the entire computer village was calling a fake charge that was shipped from AliExpress N30,000 for me. It was as if they did meeting on the price regulations among themselves. Dollar to Naira was so far better then that I ended up buying the same charger on AliExpress for about N4,000. imagine the landing price it will cost them to ship directly from Alibaba then. Now they are protecting against Chinese that are selling at a very affordable price to Nigerians.
The @officialEFCC has recorded ₦1.233 trillion and $684.4 million in recoveries over 34 months. But the bigger story is not simply how much was recovered; it is how much of that value was recovered for people and institutions beyond the Federal Government.
💰 ₦836.34 billion (67%) of the naira recoveries was made on behalf of ministries, departments and agencies, state revenue services, companies, individuals and foreign victims.
✅ ₦661.32 billion and $492.37 million have been released to beneficiaries.
This is what asset recovery should ultimately mean: tracing illicit wealth, recovering it and returning value to those entitled to it. The EFCC’s role goes beyond taking assets — it is about ensuring recovered resources find their way back to where they belong.

Lmao…. Revitalised you say? Just lol 😂
Governor @RealAARahman is constructing from scratch, a 220-bed standard hospital named after the incumbent First Lady of the country.
Now, let’s delve into the building you call irrelevant. Let me give you a background because it’s obvious that you don’t understand the system.
At least, we have nothing less than 15 different offices of the KW-IRS scattered across the capital city alone, and all these offices are rented. Now, the government has come up with an idea of building an 11-storey Revenue House that will house all these offices under one roof so that staff and officials can work in a more coordinated and efficient environment, while the government also saves millions of naira that would otherwise go into annual rent and maintenance of multiple offices.
More importantly, this is not just about erecting a building for the sake of it. It is about strengthening the institution responsible for revenue generation in Kwara State. In 2018, the previous administration was generating roughly ₦23.13 billion as IGR. Today, the current administration has pushed that figure to about ₦92.19 billion. That is almost a fourfold increase.
So, naturally, an institution that has significantly expanded its capacity and revenue generation deserves improved infrastructure and a more functional operational base. You cannot be demanding increased IGR while simultaneously complaining about investments designed to strengthen the very institution responsible for collecting that revenue.
And this is where your hypocrisy becomes obvious. When NRS built its own new headquarters, people like you applauded it as institutional development and investment in infrastructure. But suddenly, Kwara wants to build a permanent Revenue House for an agency whose revenue performance has grown from ₦23.13 billion to ₦92.19 billion, and you suddenly become a defender of fiscal responsibility.
Let me give the public some context because it is obvious that the system is being misunderstood.
The Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (Kw-IRS) has no fewer than 15 offices scattered across the capital city, most of them rented. The idea behind the proposed 11-storey Revenue House is to bring these offices under one roof, improve coordination and efficiency, while saving the government millions of naira that would otherwise go into recurring rent and maintenance costs.
More importantly, this is not simply about putting up another building. It is about strengthening the institution responsible for generating revenue for the state. In 2018, Kwara’s IGR was about ₦23.13 billion. Today, it has risen to approximately ₦92.19 billion — almost a fourfold increase. An institution that has grown its capacity and significantly improved revenue generation deserves functional infrastructure to match that growth.
The logic is straightforward: you cannot demand higher IGR while criticising investments that strengthen the very institution responsible for generating it. When other revenue institutions build permanent headquarters, it is rightly described as institutional development. Kwara should not be held to a different standard for investing in a permanent Revenue House.
This is about reducing recurring costs, improving efficiency and building an institution capable of generating even more revenue for development. Sometimes, the responsible thing is not to keep paying rent indefinitely, but to invest in infrastructure that serves the state for decades.

“The President is like a father to me. I’m like his son. When he called me yesterday, he asked me how was the election going, I told him ‘your son is cruising to victory Sir’ he said congratulations. He then asked me about my dance, I said I’m coming to Abuja to see you so we can dance together Sir…”

@QHVZYMY@Abu_Mikey Stop that please.. in that video, he gave a figure for 4 bedroom which was not the question. He could as well give an estimated figure for the question asked.. he goofed and that’s okay too
@Martins_ayo36@egi_nupe See, tbh he fumbled.. the question was direct enough.. cost of an average 2 bedroom, nothing luxurious. Then he started with a BOQ of a 4 bedroom that’s slightly luxurious, that was totally irrelevant. He should have started with “ depends on the location” for d foundation type.
